Porsche OEM quality, nough said.

Everything in the description would lead me to belief that this was a genuine Porsche branded product because it specifically states "Porsche brand". This, however, is an aftermarket brand, so the description is misleading. That being said, the quality appears to be identical to a genuine Porsche OE oil plug, so I am satisfied from that perspective. Had I known, I could find aftermarket plugs for my car for much less than I paid.

I ordered two drain plugs. One of the packages said New the second didn’t an had oil all over it. I wasn’t aware that you could or I was purchasing a used drain plug. Could’ve at least cleaned it.

The 2019 part, shown on the right, is inferior machining, as compared to the plug I ordered in 2018. Also note, the differences on the packaging label.

Changed oil in my 2007 Carrera S.Gratifying to torque the new plug in at 37 ft-lbs, as recommended by Porsche. Saved a few hundred dollars and had fun. Know that it was done properly, as I did it myself.
