I bought these for a kitchen window to use during the holidays. They were very pretty and felt some what nostalgic. I remember my mom having beaded curtains while growing up. I didn't use the adhesives, but I stringed them on a rod. because I used it on a window, I didn't have to worry about them sliding around. If you use them on a doorway or anywhere there's movement then you would have to use the adhesive or hook them securely.

It stays up nice and is super pretty, but if you want to put it in your window don’t pay extra for color because the sun fades it away.

1st of all, I LOATHE anything that needs assembling and imo, this does.I thought the stickers were tacky as in cheap, not sticky, lol, and to get 25 of them evenly spaced is not something I would be able to do!(I wasn't going to use the stickers after I've used 3M (?) stickers that supposedly holds 20 lbs and I TRIPLED the amount needed for something that weighed 5.Not only did it fall off, it took parts of the wall so I had to spackle and try to match the paint. NOT fun....)Also, they look cheap andSO, that was my reason for getting a tension rod which happened to be just an adjustable rod so I added drilling/screwing into the project and I LOTHE doing that also. lol!I had it inside the doorframe, however, from my bedroom, I could see the rod so I had to drill/screw again.I'm listing the mistakes I made so you won't and probably wouldn't but just in case~1) I opened the box upside down and didn't notice the instructions until I was finished because I ASSUMED there weren't any like the last brand I tried and returned.They DO include instructions!2) Doing it without the instructions, I ASSUMED #1 meant the 1st string to put on~NOT!#1 is the MIDDLE string.3) Each bag has 2 strings except #1 so I ASSUMED the 2 went together~NOT!1 goes to the right and the other to the left.3) I finally got the strings on the rod and once I put it up, noticed 2 strings weren't in the correct spots so when I took it down, they all fell off and I "got" to size them again. YAY!4) I am a perfectionist and I do believe 1 other reviewer also noticed that not all of the strings are straight.(Strung too tightly.)So, after all that, I'll look at it for a day and then decide if I will return or not.NONE of what I listed was their fault except a few crooked strings.That is the ONLY reason I gave it a 4.The crystals are beautiful!!I do believe they're glass, not cheap plastic.(No, of COURSE they're not actual crystals as 1 reviewer wasn't happy about....really?)The price was "good enough" as I did a lot of comparing like I do with everything I purchase.Wrapping this up, I HIGHLY suggest a tension rod and skip the stickers!!!
