Battery Back Door Cover Case for PSP 2000 2001 3000 3001 Portable Repair Parts Replacement Silver

Fit great, color is alittle off from factory but that is not a big deal to me.

Recently received this back door piece and it fits just perfect not a problem with it fits just perfect thank you for the perfect quality and color and fit looks as good as new.

I bought this a few years ago and overall it worked, but never seemed to fully sit flush on my PSP, thus leaving room for the battery to come away from the battery contacts, leading to constant resets of the date and time on my PSP. Very annoying indeed!Fast forward to a few days ago, I was looking over the thing to finally figure out what the hell was stopping it from sitting flush. Low and behold, I noticed two spots on the inside (perhaps from injection molding process) where two posts likely resided during manufacturing, and the residual plastic circles were protruding just enough to cause the door to not sit right. So with my trusty flush cutters and a craft knife, I was able to smooth those down and now the thing sits pretty well on my PSP without issues. I also had to bend the piece that latches at the release button so that it gets caught more securely by the button mechanism.As I said, I bought this probably 2-4 years ago, perhaps they have tightened up their manufacturing process and those plastic posts on the inside are more flush from the factory now. If not and you are noticing issues with the door sitting flush, look into smoothing down those bits on the inside.Due to having to do my own handiwork to get this thing to fit near perfectly, I will give it 4 stars.

The quality is extremely poor and the color doesn’t match the gray psp 2000. The cover snapped in half before I could even take it out of the bubble wrap. I’ve never filed a return on Amazon for a product so quickly.

I bought a PSP off eBay and the battery door was loose. This replacement door fit my PSP perfectly and matched the silver color. Recommended product

Does exactly what its designed to do.

The color is slightly off, color is “too dirty” but could be due to my experience with color management roles. However, it’s a little tricky to get it fit snug. Good if you plan on keeping it for your own system, but I wouldn’t recommend this brand for fixing psp/ reselling them.

The price does not properly represent what you are getting. This product is not quality for the money you are paying. The hooks that seat into the psp chassis are a common failure point for these covers. The replacement cover hooks are worse than that of the original factory cover. A simple product such as this should be held to a much higher standard.
