Braun EasyPrep™ Mini Food Processor, 4 cup, Two Speed Pulse, QuadBlade

I’ve had frustrating experiences with mini processors over the years. They never worked as well as promised. But this one is terrific. Outdoes them all. I love the top motor which is more effective and efficient than the usual bottom motor style. The parts connect easily with little fussing. The double blade works better. Less need to push food down. And since the bottom is solid, no hole for the motor, it is easy to remove the blade, scrape out any processed food on the sides without anything dripping out. Makes it easier to clean, as well. I use it often for grating hard cheese and it does an excellent job.

This is the most amazing machine! I have a large Cuisinart, but for simply chopping vegetables, Braun is the way to go. It’s blindingly fast..literally two quick taps on the top is enough to reduce an entire onion to small chop. Three taps to minced, four to fine minced. So solidly built, it’s refreshing to use a European machine. Go for it!

Broke down after only 6 months of use. Called the dulonghi customer service and now theyre sending a replacement and the warranty is transferred too. But i dont have high expectations from it since thats the second chopper thats broken down without a warning and that too only adter 6 montbs of usage.

I use this when I need to grind something. It does a very good job, and it is very handy. It does not occupy a lot of counter space. Should not be dishwashed, and that is a disappointment. Any time I need something ground or minced, it does it with ease.

Having been through a few different mini food processor this one is definitely worth buying. I love it. It’s so easy to quickly chop things with the top coming on and off with ease. I had the another brand and gave it away. I will tell anyone that is the market for one to get this one.

It was great but it stopped working after 3 uses. Very disappointed .

Works great if you don't need a bigger unit. I use it between the immersion blender and the big food processor. Find I'm using this most of the time now. Does a really good job and you don't have to do much scraping to get the larger pieces off the side which happens with my larger unit. Hold the top down till you get the consistency you want, and then done. The double blade system seems to work well. Haven't used the little tray thing for emulsions. Not sure I'd use for cheese but for spices, garlic, ginger, parsley etc. When I cook for 8-10 seems like the perfect size and saves a lot of time. Really easy to get the pieces apart. Like the lock mechanism that holds the top on. Easy to use with wet hands. Great product IMO

I have many kitchen appliances including a superior blender and food processor but wanted something for quick smaller jobs, so ordered this chopper. I have associated the Braun brand with quality for decades and this chopper has not disappointed. Having four blades, 2 mounted on top of 2 more, ensures that whatever is being chopped or pureed is easily drawn into the blades and quickly and efficiently processed. It is a powerful tool that chops vegetables for soups or spaghetti sauce, etc., saving time and effort. It would make short work of pureeing tomatoes or processing a batch of hummus or chopping nuts, etc. It is also very easy to clean but watch those sharp blades when doing so. This is an excellent and powerful tool and I highly recommend it. I have bought about 3 others for family gifts!

Not recommended. 10 days in and it stopped working. I have no idea why. Also it doesn’t do a course chop. It only does a fine chop.

UPDATE: spoke to Braun customer service. He had me show him over the phone what it sounds like when used. I plugged it in and the darn thing works just fine !! So not sure what caused it to sound like a bearing was gone ? No squealing and no sound of grinding metal on metal. It was fine. I’m anxious to try it again. Braun rep was excellent and told me I was under warranty for 3 years and if it happens again, to take a video and call back. I was surprised by the 3year warranty but happy to know it’s there. All in all I’m very happy with the warranty and the excellent service. And glad my little machine is working. So I am changing my star vote from a 1 to a 4. The complaint: Bought in March to use in the fall after gardening. Used it once to try it out. Seemed awesome. Used it maybe 3 times in each of September, October, and November. Worked great. Then I went to use it in December for Christmas baking to grind wafers and it went into a terrible squealing noise and a horrid grinding sound. I yelled for my husband, he said the motor is shot, don’t use it. It could start a fire. I’ve had Braun appliances over the years and all performed well and are still working. I think I received a “lemon” and would appreciate the company answering my message and replacing this faulty product for me. I paid $50 for this product and I should be able to expect to get my moneys worth. Thank you.

Love my little chopper/blender. Careful though, it’s easy to over chop with this thing.
