MAGIX Music Maker – 2018 Premium Edition – The audio software with more sounds, instruments and creative options

This product does not work. Attempting to open the software takes us to the blue screen of death and the computer restarts. Website support is non existent and attempts to contact customer service via phone results in "all agents are busy please try again later" and hangs up on you. Due to late holiday celebration return window has passed.

EDIT: After playing around with this program for a few days I've come to the conclusion that it's incredible! I think I would die or kill for it if I didn't already have it. If I had to choose between my comp if FL Studio Signature Bundle and this program I'd pick this one. The only problem is that the FL Studio MIDI editor is much better than the MAGIX Music Maker MIDI editor (in my opinion). But it's easy to compose a MIDI song in FL Studio ... then export the MIDI to a file. Then import the MIDI file to Music Maker. Anyway... you CAN get a free stripped down version of MAGIX Music Maker at their web site. That would be one way to see if you like it before shelling out money.Here's my first review:Still can't use the sound loops commercially but this premium edition comes with some great extras. The choir and concert guitar instruments are incredible. I probably would have paid the $77.99 just for those two instruments. I plan on using those instruments by importing original MIDI files composed in FL Studio to Music Maker. Then exporting the wav file back to FL Studio. At least that's the plan so far. I'm sure things will change and my main goal is to keep everything legal. That's why I probably won't be using any of the included sound loops.There does seem to be an autotune type program included with this version. I haven't tried it (or anything else to speak of) but it does seem to be there. At least I hope it is now that I've said it is. You may wait to ask about it in the question section of this page just to be 100% sure.MAGIX keeps a very tight leash in this program. Good for them but bad for us. For example if you flush the store cache, the things you've downloaded turn up as locked. You have to sign into the store to get everything back. I would have liked to have seen the "instruments" in a plug-in form that I could use with FL Studio without having to transfer files back and forth between programs. But for the price of this program I'll make due. It does seem to be a good program and I can't wait to dig into it and see what it can do.

Good sound/sample quality, but many common features are missing such as volume control over individual notes (fade in and out). Another drawback is that you can't import any audio files other than from cd. It's warping capabilities are very limited (matching up a recordings tempo with the grid lines)..it won't match up anything that isn't a whole number tempo such as 120.3bpm. Most of the synth presets sound very much the same and this program has difficulty with certain vsts (they won't load and cause a program freeze). There are many sound loops to choose from, however changing their tempo even slightly results in various distortions-and also playing more than one sound loop of the same type at the same time results in issues. On the good side, the effects are very simple to understand and use and produce a high quality sound. Overall..this program is meant for using the pre created loops rather than your homemade creations..but you can do that if you so desire.

THE GOOD:Great program. Easy to use.THE BAD:They will always own the the files in the sound pools and have tough restrictions on how to use them. Do your homework before buying.

Product did not properly load/include loop and sound files. No feedback sounds. No instructions manual. I'm Disappointed with this product... It is not as simple as an earlier version.

I bought this back in 2015 when it was around $130.00I would give it one star but since its now way cheaper ill give it 2.This editor is user friendly and has a lot of potential. However I'm constantly closing the application and rebooting it because of bugs. This isn't every now and then, its everytime I use it. I have reinstalled it twice now and its still bugs and crashes. trying to use a midi keypad with this software is about a joke. I'm more annoyed at the fact that I spent a lot of money on synths and kits and now they are worthless because this software is full of bugs. I also waisted about a year of my life learning the software and interface. I'm planning on getting a "real" name brand software and learning its interface.

The code won’t work and I’ve spent an hour trying to figure it out. It claims my code is invalid.

Got this for my son for Xmas we don’t know about yet! Hope is good
