LongLifeNutri Fisetin (120)

I realize this is the hottest thing in the anti aging field. Something to do with cellular aging, etc. But in my case I find it works great as an anti inflammatory for my bone on bone knee. So much so that at 78 years old I have begun running again after an eleven year hiatus.

I bought this supplement for my husband, he is 76, he said that he feels very well, more energic and more focused special in his work, I recommend it

Fisetin is a flavonoid found in some fruits and vegetables, particularly strawberries. It is a fat soluble antioxidant that (according to the Dr. Axe website) induces "potent senolytic activity that may work to prevent the replication of damaged DNA" (i.e., it help prevent the diseases that come with aging). This Longlifenutri contains 100 mg per serving (one capsule). By contrast, Vegatot Fisetin contains 300 mg per serving (one capsule). Revitalize Fisetin contains 250 mg per serving (one capsule). Peak Performance Fisetin only contains 100 mg per serving (one capsule), and Humanx Bio Fisetin contains contains 500 mg per serving (one capsule). So Longlifenutri and Performance offer the lowest amounts of the above brands. Furthermore, some of the above brands offer Fisetin as an extract. Vegatot's Fisetin is a 10:1 extract, so its 300 mg has the potency of 3,000 mg. Nothing on Longlifenutri's label indicates that it's an extract. 100 mg is all you get. Longlifenutri does offer a free plastic pill box with each bottle (see my photo). Longlifenutri has a faint, mild scent. A bit familiar, but I can't quite place it. Longlifenutri (and all of the above competing brands) comes in capsule form, rather than tablets. I like that. Tablets contain binders that can hinder absorption, so generally, capsules, softgels, and tinctures are better than tablets.
