Anthony's Organic Instant Coffee,14oz, Ultra Fine Microground, Gluten Free, Arabica, Non GMOUSDA Organic

My go-to instant coffee for a variety of uses!I love good coffee, and I usually make my own at home. However, during the pandemic, I decided to try a bunch of different things like all the variety of ramen and ramen-like products available on Amazon (there are some VERY quality instant ramens out there, but it'll cost you a few dollars more than your typical 25-cent pack of Maruchan or Nissin), and also instant coffee.What a weird thing to try all the varieties of during a pandemic, right? Well, in a pinch I've always come to rely on the trusty Medaglia D'Oro instant espresso for a quick, alright-tasting pick me up when I don't have the time to brew a cup of coffee (yes, I know it only takes a few minutes, but bear with me here, this is my journey, not yours!). It also makes for a quick way to add coffee flavor to cakes, cupcakes, brownies, etc. without brewing.Around $15 may seem like a lot to spend on instant coffee, but you get a fairly big bag of this stuff. It's a super fine granule, and a couple of tablespoons to a cup of water (hot or cold, more on that in a moment) goes a long way. I usually do 10oz hot water to 1 measured, leveled tablespoon of the coffee. Mix, add some cream, and it's actually quite good. This instant coffee, unlike some of its cheaper, name-brand counterparts, isn't overly strong or bitter. It's a fairly smooth and tasty coffee, all of that coffee flavor. One bag lasts quite a bit of time.I've had some of the lower quality (sorry, but it's true) brands of instant coffee, as well. You know, the super name brand stuff you find on every supermarket store shelf. They're usually overly bitter and strong tasting. Is it caffeine? You bet your shoelaces they are, champ. Can it be improved with enough cream and sugar? Well, slugger, I don't know about you, but ... ok they cannot. They just become creamy, weirdly sweet, bitter drinks. These also don't make for very good iced coffee.Iced coffee, you say? Well, yes! See, I'm originally from Boston, and in Boston you drink iced coffee year round. Minus 30 in the middle of a friggin' blizzard with 4 foot high snowdrifts and your cah's buries and you can't get out to buy bread and milk? Iced coffee, it's wicked pissah after all. (also there's this thing called Dunkin Donuts and it's kind of big in Boston, and while their coffee isn't great, their iced coffee is actually quite good especially on a hot summer day)See, most of the instant coffee brands out there have a super coarse dried coffee granule. This means it reacts best to hot water to dissolve. Sure you can chill it and ice it afterwards, but why go through all those steps just to have an iced coffee that's a bit too strong, bitter, and doesn't taste as good as it should? Anthony's instant coffee is a very fine grind. It practically melts in cold water, and then you can toss in a couple of ice cubes and some cream and sugar (although, sugar dissolves easier in hot water, so maybe simple syrup), and you have yourself what tastes like a better version of Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, and definitely not as rudely sharp as some of Starbucks. And if you're wondering why I left out Tim Horton's, well, they don't seem keen on iced coffee. :)So in closing, I've tried a lot of the instant coffees on the market in the last year, and Anthony's is my favorite by far for flavor, smoothness, value, and versatility.

I had mixed feelings about purchasing "instant" organic coffee. Usually I do the pods but I was not comfortable with ingesting plastic. This coffee exceeds the quality and flavor of all the coffee I tried in K-cups. Not bitter or acidic but refreshing. You control the strength. Never expected that quality in an instant organic coffee. Neither did my coffee snob friends. They were surprised it was instant coffee. This coffee is great for traveling. All that is needed is a cup of hot water. The real test was that my "coffee snobs" friends bought this coffee for themselves. Easy/peasy cup of coffee. This bag will last quite a long time.

I am elated to have found a great quality, smooth tasting, best value, organic instant coffee!!I could only buy a brand of organic instant coffee, unfortunately, the most expensive one because no other coffee tasted as good. I was spending over $40 per month. Until I found Anthony's. I couldn't be happier. I use it to make Iced coffee. I froth it slightly, poured over ice with Natural Bliss creamer. Such a treat!!

The media could not be loaded. I used to be a serious coffee lover with an espresso machine and all the gadgets. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate the convenience of instant coffee. It’s quick to make and requires no cleanup—perfect for my busy life!I’ve tried many instant coffees over the years, but this one has been my go-to for nearly a decade.What I love is that it dissolves easily in hot or cold water, so I can whip up refreshing iced coffee too. Even with rising costs, this organic coffee is a staple in our home that my husband and I enjoy daily. I gave some to my sister and she is hooked on it too.I can’t imagine living without it! I now order in bulk—I never want to run out!

This coffee is delicious, organic, smooth and dissolves like any good organic instant coffee should. However it came up when I searched for organic instant decaf coffee and I know it’s my fault for not checking to make sure it was decaf but it should have not been one of the first coffees that came up. Anyway I hope Anthony’s will make a decaf version because I won’t buy it again until then and I hope my review will help another shopper not get fooled like I did.

I have replaced our "local" instant coffee brand with Anthony's Organic Instant Coffee - because it is a better coffee!!! The taste is amazing, as is the aroma, and so is the price- twice as happy! I LOVE it and have already reordered- I DO NOT want to run out! I use several of Anthony's products and am always pleased with the quality, price, and the easy to use packaging! I love the healthy and organic choices in the whole product line.

I had not heard of powdered coffee, it's a cool concept, dissolves very easily and makes for a good shake/sprinkle topping on ice cream, cheese cakes, etc - leaves room to be creative. Flavor is full, not bitter.

I bought this coffee as a possible replacement for the Nescafe Azera Americano. To me it's almost as good as the Azera. Maybe a bit less of coffee aroma and a bit more bitterness but still way better than what you can get at a grocery store. Also, lower price and being organic helps.
