I purchased this to use on my phone, but I believe I got a defective battery, as the phone wasnt able to charge after replacement. I had to get a different batrery replacement that works. Unfortunately I went to return this after 30 days, and the return window had already closed. Disapppinted.

No instructions on how to install.However, the lg v60 is pretty easy to dissemble, so wasn't a big deal really.I replaced my factory battery that was 3 years old that was giving my phone fits... turns out the battery was swollen!This battery fit my phone and to be holding the charge excellently.I'll post new reviews if it goes downhill quickly.Tip: buy a couple custom cut adhesive backings for your phone. This battery includes adhesive tape, but unless you've done it before, odds are that you will screw it up. Buying some custom adhesive backings make reassembling your phone easy and keeps your phone water resistant.

When my phone with the OEM battery suddenly stopped holding a charge out of nowhere (no gradual onset of it draining faster, etc.), I did a lot of research to select a replacement because none of the various options have great reviews. I figured this one was my best shot as reviews for others mentioned them not lasting long but this one didn't have that complaint as much.I installed the battery no problem and everything seemed back to normal. To be extra careful, I even followed the instructions the other batteries note (even though this one doesn't mention it) of how to do the first 3-5 full charges. I was monitoring the charges carefully for about a week and saw they were lasting a normal amount of time and there was no hint of issues. Hooray!Not for long. Because one day it happened all over again: the battery suddenly stopped holding a charge out of nowhere. At the time I had been texting and shortly after noticed my phone was off. I assumed the battery had just died normally but was surprised because I hadn't noticed it being low or gotten a notification. I plugged it in to charge leaving it turned off, which usually makes for a faster charge but this time it was going abnormally slow. I left it in to charge all day - at least 8 hours, and when I finally turned it on again I saw the battery wasn't even full, only at 76% before it spontaneously turned off again. After that I couldn't ever get it on for longer than a few seconds again. I'd maybe see a flash of the logo before it died. Now, no response whatsoever.I installed this new battery when I received it on 6/10/23 and it stopped working 8/13/23. So overall extremely disappointing. I ordered a new phone entirely because having to replace a battery every 2 months is ridiculous. But I wish I could at least exchange this dud for a working one so I could get my phone turned on long enough to remove all my data.

The battery replacement was relatively straight forward, but go watch a video online on how to take the LG v60 apart, as there are no helpful instructions included. The tools included are not quite enough by themselves to adequately do the job, and are just generic cheap tools for no specific model of phone, but I was able to manage in a pinch away from home. There are extra screwdrivers you won't need, and you really will want some more prying tools not included. Make sure you have a heat gun handy for loosening the adhesives, and I would also recommend using some spudgers and a card style of prying tool to help get the old battery out. Magnifier glasses are also very helpful. Please note this battery kit only includes some generic adhesive, and no adhesive pad specific to the phone. You may want to also order an adhesive pad specific for the v60 phone, especially if you want it to still be water resistant. Still overall, this battery did the trick for me and I should be able to get another year or two out of my phone.

The battery instructions were clear, the installation and all was made as simple as possible with all the necessary tools.My battery ended up dying about 3 weeks after installing it so that's rather disappointing. My phone isn't that old, about 1.5 years but was not holding a charge so I thought this would help. It didn't help keep the charge longer, but worked just fine for the 3 weeks. Now my phone is only working on a charger.Seems to work well for others though.

the battery itself seems to doing very good. the install went well as I followed a online video for the disassembly of my phone. my only criticism is of the back panel adhesive, it is not precut, so I had to carefully cut thin strips to apply it to my back cover.
