Samsung Remote Control (BN59-01330H / RMCSPR1AP1) for Smart TVs - White

We have a few infrared remotes for our Samsung TV, and you have to point them straight at the TV if you want it to work. Line of sight is important for infrared. This is Bluetooth, which means you don't have to point it directly at the TV. So if your cats are in the way, you can still pause your movie when the delivery driver rings your doorbell. This was $22 when I bought it. It's normally between $35 - $40. I think that's a little expensive considering I can get an infrared one for a lot less. Infrared works just fine. It's just BT works soooo much better. If it goes down below $30 again, I'm going to get another one as a back up.

I have the discontinued Samsung bn59-01329a remote which is starting to show some wear after three years of daily use. After some research, I decided on this one as it is an actual Samsung remote and it is Bluetooth-capable, which is a must since you don’t need to point it directly at the TV for it to work. I put batteries in it and turned on the television. The remote sensed the TV and immediately paired to it. All functions work like the original remote and both remotes work on the same TV. I’ll be buying a second one as a spare for our other TV.

DO NOT BUY IT CAUSES STRESS Wirst remote ever used. Stressful because buttons have to be pressed hard a few times to change channel or selecting anything. At first it fine then a couple of months and malfunctions and you cant return it by then. Very deceiving!

This was the right model to go with my Frame whose remote suddenly and rudely stopped working. It wasn't easy to pair it to my Frame, but I eventually succeeded. It has worked perfectly ever since. I have now linked my smart phone to it so that if this remote suddenly dies I will still be able to control the Frame with my phone.

For the most part this remote works great! We had had some issues with having to press the buttons down really hard in order to make it work, but that is really our only complaint. It was easy to hook up to our TV to use and easier to keep track of with the remote itself being white.

I've had my Samsung smart tv for many years (model#QN55Q60TAF) Was hard to find a replacement remote. With my old remote it was extremely hard to remove the back piece to change batteries. Eventually it broke from constantly popping it off with a knife. The buttons were also flat/smooth and it lagged when changing channels. With this new one I am so much happier. Buttons stick out for ease of use. Connection seems so much faster and the back piece slides off smoothly with no hesitation. I had to review this. It was so worth the price! Id highly recommend.

Inconsistent operation. No voice function. It works and controls most features, but is frustrating that it does not transmit as well or ellicit the functions consistently.

Our Beagle puppy (at the time) decided to chew the original remote that was left on the bed for him to enjoy. And this OEM remote was a perfect fix at a reasonable price.

Voice search not working

Al parecer si es el original, tiene toda pinta de serlo. Todos los botones se sienten de calidad y la respuesta es rápida a comparación de uno genérico. Calidad. 100% recomendado. Funcionó desde el inicio en mi TV, pero tuve que hacer el proceso de sincronizar para optimizar el micrófono y supongo los botones adicionales de apps.

Dog ate my original remote for my Frame TV so had to buy a new one. Better price on Samsungs Amazon site than on their own website.
