I really like this knife sharpener. It is really effective, fast and easy to use. I use to have a stone one and since I got this one, I threw the other one away because this one is so much better. I love that there are three different slots and that there is a scissor option. The design is ergonomic with the hand placement part. Definitely recommend to everyone who cooks a lot and has knives that could use a facelift!

I have been needing this for a while. Great for sharpening my kitchen knives and scissors. Hope to use the knife and scissors that came with it soon. Look to be of better quality then what I have.

I give this 5-stars just for the knife alone. It is a large knife, with quite a bit of weight to it, but feels perfectly balanced and makes chopping, slicing, and dicing a breeze. This knife could easily replace 3 or 4 other knives in my kitchen, and I look forward to using it for many years to come.Everything comes packaged in a nice box. The knife and scissors have plastic slip covers to preserve them, and prevent any accidents from happening. I haven't used the scissors apart from a couple of cuts to confirm they work, and yup, they're scissors. They also have a nice weight to them, but felt a little stiff, almost like they needed to be oiled, as they would stick a tiny bit when I did a repeating cutting motion. I'm sure they are sharp and perfectly capable scissors.The sharpener has 3 slots, 1 to sharpen scissors, and the other 2 for knives (not for use with ceramic knives), with a course and a fine option. The non-slip base is effective, and the sharpener doesn't take up much room and could be stored in a drawer if you don't need to sharpen your knives very often.The main item I got this set for was the knife though, and it certainly does not disappoint. I would say if you need a large kitchen knife, this is a great deal, and you get the scissors and knife sharpener thrown in too.

If you watch the video the first one is a more expensive option on Amazon and the second is this knife! This is as close to Shun as you can get without spending 100+ per knife! Needless to say there are some manufacturering defects as in not perfect but at this price point and quality who cares! Good weight, good feel, good balance and passes the paper test!
