FL Studio Producer Edition 12 Music Production Software

I already had Cubase 7.5 but decided to buy this after trying their android app.I must say that this is a great software.I spent a day or two to figure out how certain basic things work in Cubase but FL studio is just too easy.. for e.g. you have an option in FL to stutter your audio .where as it is a hardwork in Cubase... FL has a very very simple workflow..there are a few things which are better in Cubase e.g. the chord track, but still as a beginner, FL studio is a great and far more economical choice considering the £125 price tag against £250+ for Cubasego for it..!!!

Very convenient, user friendly, stylish and practical music software. A bit pricey for the amount of pluggins, but on the other hand you get free updates forever, plus competitor prices are not better, to be fair. You can always find some extra plugins and instruments and tools across the internet, but I would recommend getting a Producer Editions - it has the most crucial and fun ones, perfect for beginners. While there are lots of Holy Wars between Cubase, Ableton and FL, I definitely recommend this one for anyone, especially beginner, because it has a good balance inbetween price, quality, ease of use and style.

Fantastic DAW, but read the instruction booklet from cover to cover first to understand the full potential of this product. It has opened new horizons to my music creation. Download the fully working demo to play around first (save your songs but you won't be able to open them again before purchase). I recommend the Producer edition rather than the cheaper (but limited) Fruity edition. Loads of online tutorial videos to help you (after reading the booklet that comes with the boxed product). Watch the FL Studio promotion video to get some idea of what it can do.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Fantastic quality DAW with plenty of features & effects for music production and a welcome addition to the studio.

I have no idea what prompted image line to create this awful gui. Visually it is flatter than a piece of paper. I hate it. It looks like crap. To make it worse you can't even get skins for it. I've used it less than my FL STUDIO 11 Demo. Can we get the option to go back to the 11 GUI? I still cannot get used to it. The most frustrating thing is that I feel I have less control over it. You can't even change the path for your plugins. Everything is fixed. The appeal of FL STUDIO is the freedom to do whatever the fudge you like. Please make it better. It's a horrible, horrible mess. I've made a lot less music since I've got it. Luckily I have the old version/demo on my main computer which I'd rather go through the pain of uninstalling and reinstalling than using this cack. I would rather dip my nips in acid than get an upgrade. I can't believe I paid for this sh. The one time I pay for something and I get this. Get better, image-line. Don't make me use Ableton.

was expecting more within the software like access to harmor and harmless but can still save projects which is the main focus thank you !

Good software lots of VST plugins available. Very easy to pick up and the software design is very logical. A good upgrade from the demo since you can save tracks. Lots of export options, however, I would like more VST plugins in this version... considering how much it costs.Would recommend even if you're off the fence with your purchasing decision. Well worth it.

Bought this for my boyfriend as he loves music and wanted to start experimenting with making his own. He has made a few songs with this now, and he spends hours on it at weekends, having so much fun doing what he loves. Brilliant quality DAW and also has plenty of features & effects for music production.
