The ghd IV Styler is hands down one of the best beauty tools I’ve ever bought. It heats up quickly, glides smoothly through the hair, and leaves a sleek, shiny finish that lasts all day. I’ve had mine for years and it’s just as reliable as when I first got it - no pulling, no damage, just effortless styling every time. A true investment piece that proves its value with long-lasting quality. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants salon results at home.

Amazing hair styling product! I bought these GHD's back in September 2009 (So amazon just reminded me when i clicked on the page - has it really been that long!?) and mine still work perfectly. Okay they have some obvious wear and tear on them, but for the first few years i was literally using them every day! They work perfectly for straightening, curling, waving everything! I used to have shortish hair (bob style) so i bought the thin ones as they were easier to style with, but since my hair has grown out i could probably get away with the wider plated ones, but i would still buy these. I use them for curling my hair a few times a year for special occasions, or just lightly trying to straighten my hair to reduce the frizz, or for fully straightening my hair. I also have some hair extention clip in's and these work amazingly on those without ruining them! They may seem like a lot of money to fork out in one go, but at the price they are currently, i am extremely tempted to buy myself a new pair even though mine still work, knowing i have already had 6 years out of them and can no doubt get a fair bit more wear out of them, which is surprising considering mine have accidentally gotten wet on the occasion when drinks were spilt (oops!). For this i would scrap spending £10-30 on a cheap pair of hair straigteners that you will no doubt need to replace every 6months to a year, and go with these which last a very long time! There are so many tutorials online on youtube etc to help you with how to use these straighteners for hair curling, to save you forking out on a curling tong as well! They make beautiful tight ringlets or big bold waves and everything in between! I would never try any other brand of hair straightener. My cousin who is a hair dresser also swears by them, as do most of the other females in my family who style their hair.

I've always bought ghd straighteners but had to cope with a few months of wavy hair after losing my last pair. I thought about going for a cheaper option but after borrowing a few friends' non-ghd straighteners, I decided to go for what I knew did the trick and I'm so glad I did. I've got fairly thick, long-ish, wavy/curly hair. These straighten it brilliantly and also very quickly. They heat up fully within about a minute and beep when they're ready. They're also really good for curling and the effect (straight and curls) lasts pretty much until I wash it or I get rained on! I do have to straighten my hair in sections if I want to do it properly but it doesn't take long and they do work well enough through the full thickness of my hair if I'm in a rush and just want to tidy it up a bit. Various friends with all sorts of hair have borrowed them now and they work well on everyone. I'd thoroughly recommend these straighteners and, although there are cheaper options out there, I think these are worth the extra few quid.

I cannot fault these straighteners in any way! They are just amazing and do the job perfectly! I have tried a few different straighteners before including the babyliss thermaglass which had okayish results but did not give absolutely straight hair which is what I was looking for and took 2-5 mins to heat up. These straighteners on the other hand heat up super fast which is great when you need to get ready quickly and they give excellent straightening results with zero effort, even with my thick wavy hair. I am thoroughly impressed and will never buy a different brand of straighteners ever again! I bought my last GHDs in 2007 and they are still going strong whereas the babyliss thermaglass ones had died within a year or so (I bought this as an additional straightener as I travel back and forth from my flat near work and home all the time and had forgotten to pack my straighteners a few times). All in all I would say this is a great investment and well worth the money: excellent results, quick heat up time and they last ages!

I bought this straightener as a birthday present for my wife and was very conscious to order it in time for it. I used the Super Saver Delivery option at the checkout (always used to do it and always very happy with the service and timing) and the item was dispatched via Home Delivery Network very quickly after I placed the order. This is where the good experience with the delivery ended. I was given a time slot between 8am and 7pm - I got to work early (did not want to miss the parcel so gave my work address for the delivery)and waited. The tracking number I was provided with showed the parcel as in transport for several hours in a row without any indication when it would actually reach its destination. I have made several phone calls to the Home Delivery Network where every time I was told that the parcel is on its way. The call operators were not able to give me an estimated time of delivery and informed me that they have no way of contacting the courier to check with him/her. Finally, I left work at about 8pm only to find out using the tracking number at home that the delivery was attempted 10 mins after I left (way after 7pm) and my parcel was now in the depot. I tried to rearrange the delivery the following day and was told that they could not guarantee it on that day so decided to go to the depot to collect it myself. The straightener is great and my wife really enjoys using it (you will have to ask her to tell you what it does to her hair etc...) but I will think twice before ordering anything from Amazon where the item is to be delivered by the Home Delivery Network. Very negative customer experience.

I bought this item and realized that the front of the plates meet but the rest doesn't. Meaning that I can only use half of the plates. I had the same ghd previously and it lasted me literally 12 years. This ghd that I bought isn't doing what it is supposed to do. I am now stuck trying to find another ulternative option.

Really good and does the job. Totally recommend.

La plancha es perfecta, ya tengo la GHD volu Max q también funciona de maravilla, me compre está xq al ser más estrecha me hago mejor la raíz del pelo y para el repaso rápido diario, tengo mucho pelo, largo y rizado (muy fosco),x eso la primera q me compré fue la GHD volu Max, pero he de decir q esta tambièn me alisa bastante rápido (obviamente, cabe menos pelo entre las placas), deja mucho brillo y el alisado duradero y natural, las placas muy suaves no pega tirones. La temperatura que alcanza es óptima para el alisado, no necesita más, probè una de gama inferior(la devolví rápidamente) que alcanzaba los 230 y ni de lejos me daba los resultados que me proporciona está.

Je dois dire que j'ai vraiment hésité avant de l'acheter tout d'abord le prix est assez élevé et je me disais qu'il n'avait rien de plus qu'un autre lisseur mis à part le fait de pouvoir boucler les cheveux. Mais j'ai été tenté et je ne suis vraiment pas déçue c'est un lisseur révolutionnaire il n'est pas comparable, du coup je ne regrette vraiment pas mon achat. Le temps de chauffe est super rapide, moins de 20 secondes et l'appareil est prêt, après un ou deux passages vos cheveux sont parfaitement lisses, de plus ses plaques fines sont très pratiques c'est pour ca que je pense que le styler IV est plus adapté au cheveux fins. De plus il fait des boucles parfaites mais il faut prendre le coup de main car c'est pas facile au début. Bref je le conseille vivement, c'est vrai qu'il est un peu cher mais c'est un bon investissement!!!

La migliore piastra per capelli di sempre. Questa è la seconda che acquisto in 10 anni, durano una vita. La prima l’ho dovuta cambiare perché mi era caduta, ma andava ancora benissimo. La piastra lascia i capelli setosi e mantiene a lungo la piega, anche senza uso di prodotti. Per me le altre piastre non esistono!
