Product Description The Dr Brown’s Options Anti-Colic Pink Twin Pack Bottles offers an easy and comfortable way to feed your little-one, adapting to their needs as they grow. With the unique design, this bottle can be used with or without the removable internal patented vent system, transforming it into a teat-vented bottle for more convenience. Use Dr Brown’s Options bottles from birth – don’t wait until your baby develops colic. The unique internal green vent system continues to create 100% vacuum free feeding, which is clinically proven to help reduce wind related colic. This is what makes 9 out of 10 Healthcare Professionals recommend Dr Brown’s for the relief of wind related colic. As baby’s feeding becomes more developed the bottle can be used without the green vent system to work more like a conventional, teat-vented bottle. The Dr Brown’s scalloped designed teat allows air to vent through the bottle when the green vent system is not used, either when baby’s feeding is developed or parents just want the convenience of a teat vented bottle. The complete feeding system that grows with baby and helps alleviate the symptoms of windy colic. Prevention is better than cure! Note : To avoid leakage please follow the below 1. If you heat your bottle with the teat collar securely in place, the liquid will be forced up into the vent as it expands. To avoid this, either heat the bottle without the teat collar or loosen the teat collar one-half turn after heating to allow the pressure to equalise. Then, re-tighten it before feeding. 2. If you use powdered formula and mix it by shaking the bottle, liquid can get into the vent. The solution for this is to mix the formula by stirring it with a spoon rather than by shaking. 3. If you overheat the liquid in the bottle, the vapor will rise and condense in the vent. To prevent this, avoid warming the liquid beyond body temperature. Box Contains 1 x Dr Brown's Options Plus Anti-Colic Wide Neck Baby Feeding Bottle, 270ml - Pack Of 4 Bottles

Leak on baby's pyjamas almost every time! :-(
These are the only bottles my son would take at 6 months old. I tried every and I mean EVERY bottle on the market. That was the old design. Then they changed to this new new design with the green straws (old ones were blue) and o hate them! They leak! Doesn't matter how might you do them up, and also sometimes you think they aren't leaking and then suddenly they will. After 18 months of using this brand exclusively the lot are going in the bin. If I have to change a sleepy toddler out of wet jammies one more time because of these bottles, I will not be a happy camper.

Definitely helped
After trying Infacol, Colief and MAM anti-colic bottles with limited success, we stumbled across these. My baby is 5 weeks old and has terrible wind and hiccups which just seemed to be getting worse. After trying these bottles he’s greatly improved. They’re not a miracle cure, he still gets wind but it’s so much better than it was on any of the other remedies. Each bottle also comes with a little pipe cleaner for when you wash them which is really handy. Other reviewers mentioned leakage but we haven’t experienced this. If you follow the instructions, they don’t leak.Pros:Eases windNice to hold when feedingCons:You need to buy the travel caps (which are sold separately) to shake the formula when making up a bottleCleaning is fiddly, but after a few washes you get the hang of it and it becomes less arduousI would definitely try them if your baby is suffering from wind. The benefits outweigh the negatives in my opinion.

Angry and disappointed.
Awful, I bought these because my wee one had cmpi and colic and reflux. They have helped a lot with the colic no arguments there hence the one star. But the cleaning is a nightmare, they leak everywhere and the valves don't last longer than a month, I've replaced all valves since having these bottles and my little boy is only 4 months old. I would demand a refund or partial refund but that means going through the whole annoying return stress and who has the energy when youve got baby to look after. So I would say that they really have to rethink their design, I'm very angry and disappointed.

Godsend for windy baby, ZERO leakage issues.
I don't know why so many people have had problems with these leaking. I have 8 bottles and have never once had an issue. Bottles will definitely leak if you shake them with boiling water inside and the cap screwed on so perhaps this is the issue. I use them with the perfect prep machine - I just swirl the powder in the hot water until dissolved (with no lid/teat on) then add the cooler water.Anyway, these bottles have been a godsend for my baby, who I initially thought had reflux but I now believe was trapped wind. He is really difficult to burp but with these bottles it isn't such a big problem if he doesn't get wind up as he isn't taking in as much air to begin with. Yes, there are 2 extra bits to clean over ordinary bottles, but an appropriate brush is provided, and this is a small price to pay for a happy baby. Really glad I tried these.

Awful! DO NOT BUY
I have always followed the bottle instructions whilst making up a bottle of milk for my son.DO NOT BUY!They leak everywhere! I have tried screwing them tighter, looser, stirring the milk with a spoon, shaking hard/softly to mix the formula, Nothing works! He only takes 7oz of milk so the bottle isn’t even full.I am constantly wiping the sides, walls...my son! The milk drips everywhere like a tap!I’m really gutted as I really wanted to use dr Browns as was recommend by a friend who had used the previous style. Wish I had stuck to Mam

Fantastic bottles
These should be prescribed by the hospital! Our daughter really struggled to drink and often fell asleep during or right after feeding without finishing the bottle resulting in her being underweight . Then she has a lot of wind problems.I bought one of these at 3am as it was the only bottle on the shelf in Tesco and am so glad I did . Her feeding changed straight away and it was much less effort for her to feed, noticeably so, she stayed awake all through the feed and for a while afterwards - as she was feeding more she put on weight quickly too. She did still have wind but nowhere near as bad as she did . I bought a load more from Amazon and am 100% happy with them I just wish we had used then from the start and saved a lot of stress and aggravation. If your debating getting one or not and are looking at the reviews, get one and try it out and I assure you that you'll be glad you did.

Worked for our "windy" baby!
Our daughter suffered so badly with wind: we tried Infacol with no luck, and noticed th Tommee Tippee bottles were full of air bubbles. These bottles have made a huge difference, and we're sticking with them nearly four months on. If your baby is really struggling, I would definitely recommend giving these a go!
