Happy Buyer
Garmin HRM - Tri heart rate strap. Only had this a few days & used twice. Was simple to pair with my watch Forerunner 735XT. It now connects as soon as I start wearing it. Much more accurate for intensity training than watch alone. Comfortable to wear. Previous Polar strap had become rough & started to chafe no such problems so far. Can't comment on battery life but I am aware not to expect more than a year & it's a self change item. It's expensive but the quality seems good & it works great, happy with my decision to purchase (so far) great compliment to the Forerunner.

Easy to use, great performance
Friends told me that heart rate bands like this can be restricting. I haven't found that at all. It works straight out of the box and was easy to connect to my Garmin 935.The wrist-based monitor on the watch is unreliable during hard efforts (causing lots of worry) but this strap is accurate and put my mind at rest.It works beautifully when swimming too, so I can gauge my actual effort there for the first time.Super easy to use and clean, great performance - highly recommended.

Information overload (in a good way)
This HRM is awesome when paired with my Fenix 5; the information it reports is beyond what I was expecting and has helped me tweak my training for the better while actively monitoring improvements in fitness. If you're on the fence about these and not sure which to get, I chose HRM-Tri as it has the ability to log data away from a smart watch/device (after pairing and activating the activity) and updates your device when back in range E.G. if you want to log a hard circuit session but didn't want your watch to get knocked around OR if you do a couple rounds on sparring/punchbag etc.4* for 'working out' as regardless of how good it performs, just like its competitors, HRM's are no good for weight training (my interpretation of 'working out'). Calorie consumption & energy output algorithms are not brilliant for weights/gym so be warned, if that's what you want a HRM for, it's not going to give you accurate feedback.

Comfortable and Reliable HRM for Garmin
Read a few hit and miss reviews about this HRM but friends where I live use it and recommended.I have had no problems at all.I have used the HRM for lake swimming under a wetsuit and use it most mornings while working out on an inside bike trainer.I do not know of any issues regarding battery changes at this time but the product is now 4 months old and is working well. The HRM connects easily with my Garmin 735xt and is picked up by some tablet software such as Tacx training, at the moment though it doesn't connect through zwift

Works fine, but mine arrived without silicon anti-slip border around electrodes. I ordered it in March 2018. It looks like I got previous revision, which is strange. It does not slip away so far, I will test more.My Fenix 5 finds it instantly, much faster that Bluetooth Polar H7. And it is nice to have build in memory, I use it for my bouldering, where I do not want to harm my watches. Additional running metrics: vertical oscillation, cadence and ground contact time is a nice add on.The downside is the price and inability to change strap, as pod is built in.

Excellent.
Connected via a fenix 5x plus and works perfectly. Very easy to link up and give all the data required.Easy to adjust and comfortable to wear, thus far no complaints. As far as product longevity, I will update in a month of so. This will see almost daily use.

Great great great!
Purchased to make my Vivo active 3 work outs accurate and it did exactly that! I use mine for Kite boarding, mountain biking, weight lifting and rowing (tried swimming but only works with the forerunner / fenix using store and forward!) Amazing the data it captures, especially when lifting... previous my lowest heart rate periods were when actually lifting due to the restriction in blood flow for the wrist sensor, glad to say that's completely changed and seeing 148/155 BPM during your set is completely normal... resulting in more calories burnt meaning you can eat more!! Yaaas! If your serious about tracking calories I'd highly recommend!

Garmin product support great service
Have used this for just over a year, changed battery and after a month or so stopped connecting Called Garmin support direct, ok took abut 10 mins to get through but at the min can't really complain. After telling Craig what had happened he sorted a replacement all i have to do is send mine back. Can't ask for much better service, two year warranty. What these days comes with a standard two year warranty yet everything they sell does. Didn't find this out until i had a problem.

Good strap and good quality, more accurate and steady measurements of HRM than mt watch.Would recommend carefully checking watch compatibility before purchasing
