Because the trauma those nose pore strips gave me… UNFORGIVABLE and I have the crater sized pores to prove it.It’s now October 2022 and I have been nose pore strip clean for 5 years until the opportunity to try these ‘gentle’ nose strips came up, I almost didn’t take the bait but I’m glad I did. I put my experience below so you can make a more informed purchase decision.How are these different to regular pore strips?1. They’re wet like sheet masks2. You don’t have wait for them to dry3. It comes with an individually wrapped plastic 2 in 1 cotton bud and extractor.4. They don’t destroy your skin barrier, it’s not painful to remove and brings closed comedones and gunk to the skins surface.How I used it for best results?1. Skin prep: I applied a hot flannel to steam and open pores, followed by a clay mask, to draw oils and loosen closed comedones. Once I rinsed off the clay with warm water and pat dry I applied the strip.2. 25 mins later (lost track of time) I removed strip and saw all the whiteheads on skin surface3. I used the mini extractor to lightly scrape off all the gunk applying minimal pressure to the skin as I’m prone to hyperpigmentation and scarring.4. Washed face, applied anti bac toner, followed by hyaluronic… I then applied hydrocolloid tape to my nose just in case I unintentionally broke my skin.Please excuse my picture quality I have a really old iPhone.At the time I write this review each strip works out to £4 each, I will use once a month, so it's great value for money. I will 1000% repurchase, my nose is less oily and my pores appear smaller.

I wasn't expecting these to be very effective at first as I've tried similar products with not much results.However, these do actually work well.You get 5 blackhead remover/ pore cleansing patches in a packAnd 5 pore minimizing patches5 swabsThe instructions are on the back of each packet.First I used the blackhead/ pore cleansing patch. Left it on for 15 minutes then removed itTo my surprise it did actually draw impurities to the surface of the skin on my nose.I didn't actually know I had blackheads until I used this patch. I was testing it's ability to clear pores but it actually revealed 2 small blackheads and other pores that were congested.The patch didn't draw them out completely the firt time but brought them nearer to the surface. So... I used another patch immediately after and that cleared most ot the clogged pores out.I used the blackhead removing end ( the end with the hole in ) of the swab to remove the two tiny blackheads.Now, I've tried blackhead removing tools before and none have ever worked but this one did. It's not that it's any different to others but I think in combination with the patch it enables the removal tool to do it's intended job.Please note when using the blackhead remover tool you have to center the hole over the blackhead and press down - apply quite a bit of pressure on the skin and the blackhead will pop out.On close inspection I could see my skin in my nose was clean and clear of blocked pores but the pores were quite open. Rhis is where the pore minimizing patch comes in.I put the patch on and left for 15 minutes then took it off.The patch overlaps a little onto my cheeks and I noticed that where the patch had been on my nose and cheeks the pores were noticeably smaller and closed.I have to say I have not found a toner or lotion that can work that quickly before.It does contain Witch hazel and royal jelly so maybe that's the key ingredients.It does state you need to use this daily for 5 days to get the best results - and you do. Well at least 3 for noticeable improvement.I did two patches day one and one patch day two and my skin is now clearing of all blocked pores.It really does work but you have to stick at it and use the patches. Just using 1 won't get you the best results.As for price, I think it's a little expensive. I wouldn't normally pay £19.99 (£4.00 for 1 treatment) that's why I've given it 4 stars and not five no other reason only price.However it does work and if you don't mind paying a little extra at least it's not money wasted.This is solely my own personal opinion from my experience of testing this nose patch kit and others may have a different opinion so please check other reviews also so as to get a balanced view.

Tried out by our grand-daughter (19), who has used a lot of similar kits, but wasn’t impressed with this one:“These are very similar to nose strips you can buy in drugstores, but a lot more expensive. They didn’t work that well, either; they irritated the skin on my nose, leaving it very raw and red – the liquid is too strong to go on a delicate area like the nose, The best feature is that they don’t have the unpleasant smell of some blackhead removers.”After this review appeared, I had a very helpful email from the supplier as follows:“Because our products are a variety of highly active plant extracts, your granddaughter feels irritated not because of chemicals, but a variety of plant extracts, such as PEPPERMINT LEAF EXTRACT, which are not harmful to the skin. Therefore we suggest that you can apply a hot compress to the nose before use to open the pores before applying the first nose patch. Hope it helps you. Our product is characterized by not removing blackheads by tearing, but by removing them with a cotton swab after exporting, did your granddaughter use the second Soothing Nose Patch?”My grand-daughter confirmed that she did use the second patch and the cotton swab, but it still didn’t work for her. However, I’ve upped my review from two stars to three stars for the customer service.
