Dead of Wynter: A Dark Mafia Romance (Frost Industries Book 2)

HFNCan be standalone but better read in order of series because it ends on cliffhangerI really enjoyed the book, but it has several typos that might distract other readers. Hopefully Book 3 will have better editing.

I don’t know where to start! My first spoke with this author was When it Raynes and she blew me away, I fell in love with her writing! I couldn’t wait for Dead of Wynter. She DIDNOT disappoint. This story was everything I needed. It was so good and didn’t feel rushed at all. Everything between Wynter and Everett was built up so beautifully. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Montana and definitely become one of my top authors I love to read. Thank you for another amazing book!

Dead of Wynter is another great 5 star read!! I absolutely love Wynter's strength. She is a Queen in her own right and power. She has no problem showing the boys she can and will be the queen she was born to be! I love the strength and obsessive behavior from Ev even after everything they have been through. I can not wait to see what the next story brings about. These siblings are all so strong in their own way and Montana is telling us all their stories in the most amazing way❤❤❤️

I really have enjoy reading this story. Wynter is a forces o be reckoned with. And i love that when people under estimated her she comes out on top. I enjoy seeing Everett take care of her with out pushing her limits. And cant wait for snow & storms book. This 18+ check cw

I loved reading Wynter and Everett’s store just as much as I enjoyed Emerson and Rayne’s. Montana does such a great job of building you into this world, I can’t wait to see where this series goes.

This one was ruined for me when theH said he wished he had moved on and how many other women he had been with. But didn’t allow the h the same respect. Actually he gave her a complex because he ran off other men. Gotta say I ADORE a dark mafia romance. Love a A hole hero who is possessive and a jerk . But that made me almost not finish which is something i never not do. But i did and couldn’t find redemption. I wanted to. I NEEDED to because Rayne was my book boyfriend of 2022 but i just hated Everette. Couldn’t find anything redeeming and i wanted to. I have high hopes for the next one because honestly i feel this author is gonna be amazing

Montana Fyre is a fairly new author to me. She does an amazing job creating a world where the characters are all strong, and where family comes first. Dead Of Wynter picks right up where Where It Raynes ends. It can be read as a standalone, but reading When It Raynes will enhance the reading experience.We get Wynter and Everette's story in this book. Their story is one that is filled with true love and what one does when they are trying to keep the other safe. Wynter has been groomed to take over when or if something may happen to one of the boys. When push comes to shove she shows each and every person that she is more than capable. Everette is our sweet all alpha hero who will do what ever it takes to protect the woman who holds his heart.

Dead of Wynter picks up where book 1 ended. Wynters parents have been murdered and the family has gathered at the main estate.Knowing Wynter is going to need him to lean on Everett returns to her life after 8 years. Everett didn’t want to leave Wynter 8 yrs ago but he had to. He still watched over her but from the shadows. Now he’s back to claim the woman he loves!Anger, revenge, drama and a whole lot of steaminess had me reading this book in one sitting!We do end this book with the intro to who the next book in this will be about.

It was a good read but not as good as the first book in this series. To be honest I didn't like Everett very much. They have been separated for 8 years. He "disappeared " from Wynter's life after taking her virginity only to appear when her life came crushing down. The reason I didn't liked him very much was because he was demanding so much from her like he had any right after abandoning her for 8 years. Also, he kept refusing to explain to her his reasons behind his actions. I found Wynter annoying at times at how easily he let him in. Almost immediately after all the suffering and hurt he caused her. I kept rolling my eyes at those two to be honest but a soldier on because I enjoyed the subplot and wanted to know what would happen with their rivals.Hope the characters in Fall of Snow are better but I am afraid to say that Snow sounds like a spoil brat already.

The first series set this book up really well for me, and it was all going well until we had a “steamy scene” that lasted over 70 pages. Like there’s slow burn (which I absolutely hate and refuse to read) and then there’s page 186-250…I almost DNF at that point and even then, I skimmed until the end because that scene was just so dragged out and boring.Overall, these two had an interesting story and I’m mildly curious about Snow and Elijah BUT…I’m glad it’s not out yet because I doubt I would have jumped into another book by this author right away…maybe by September I’ll get over my issues and find it in myself to read the remaining books….

This series of books are everything I was hoping and more!!!The only downfall is there won’t ever be men like the ones that live in between the pages.
