Not What I Expected, But Excellent
Ever since I saw the first volume of Baltimore in a dark book warehouse, I was intrigued. After reading the first volume, I knew I found something special. The last book in the series didn’t disappoint.I was surprised when it opened during a large scale battle and our protagonist nowhere in sight. Baltimore has always been a personal story at interesting international locations with worldwide consequences. However, this volume opens with a conflict that is no longer in the forgotten corners of the world but on an international stage. Therefore, I began the read with trepidation, especially considering that the penultimate volume underwhelmed. But slowly as Lord Baltimore’s former comrades began to gather, the book grew on me.Mike Mignola returns the series to a personal story and satisfying concludes it. The art and paneling is to the quality that you can expect from the series. However, the coloring is more vibrant and less atmospheric than early volumes, but never to a detriment. Overall, I really enjoyed this volume and I am happy with the series’s ending.

Sorry to see the series end.
From the book to the graphic novels, all well done and enjoyable.

A fitting conclusion
It was an interesting conclusion to the storyline, though there is a time gap that feels a bit rough.

A fitting ending
Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden's horror series, which started as a novella, ends really well. I was surprised by the time jump but it does give the outside hope for future tales during that time period. The art is still fantastic. Lord Baltimore, and the series, get a fitting end and I enjoyed every page.
