Beautiful lights that I bought for when I take my Christmas lights down. These emit a lovely bright glow, perfect for those dark winter nights.

I’m really pleased with these lights, they have a warm white glow and plenty of choice for lighting mode via a remote. I recently purchased a white slimline 6ft Christmas tree and these being on a clear cable are easy to hide among the branches. The 240 easily fill the tree, I doubled them to have cluster effect and they are ample. They are easy to take out of the box and not in a tangled mess, with no kinks in the cable from being folded and tied tight. You will need two AAA batteries for the remote to work and there’s a on off switch on the cable which is separate to the wall socket. The remote has four choices of lighting mode for brightness, plus 2,4 6 or 8 hour on timer and an on off switch. Worth paying the extra for over cheaper brands.

Very pretty fairy lights; had them up for a few months and will buy more for other rooms. They come in three different settings, the highest being surprisingly bright for such little lights. You can set a timer on the remote for them to turn off in 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. If you do, the lights will automatically remember when they turned on and off and will turn on the next day at the same time. (For example, if you turn them on at 5pm and then at 9pm you set a 2 hour timer, the lights will turn on at 5pm and turn off at 11pm the next day.) I thought that was very clever, and saves me from using an external timer. The only caveat is the rather large plug (see picture). If you are planning to plug them in behind furniture or curtains, please be aware that it stands out quite a bit and might not fit. Still, 100% would recommend these.

First Christmas with these new lights decorating our banisters (replacing old ones that just degraded and fell apart) what I love about these is that you can have them bright for during the day, but turn them down a bit so they are more atmospheric for evening use. The plug (which glows blue when on) has an adapter to work in our sockets so needs to be unplugged or switched off at the socket when not in use or they’ll continue to draw power.

I bought these to replace a set of similar lights from Robert Dyas that I was using to light up an alcove. They were nice lights, but I wanted 'static' (non-flashing) lights and they defaulted to flashing when turned on - and had no 'last setting' memory. These Lights4Fun ones don't do any fancy tricks; you turn them on, they light up...and that's it. Perfect. Nice and bright (though not excessively so) and with a good warm white colour. In fact they're just a hint warmer than the Dyas ones (which are described as being warm white). They seem to be well made with sturdy transparent wire, and the transformer supplied is nice and compact. An extra bonus is the in-line switch, which comes in handy if the plug socket is tucked away somewhere inaccessible. No idea how long they'll last, but at the asking price I'd be more than happy if they lasted a year. Very happy at this point to recommend them if you want some simple fairy lights that aren't overly dazzling and harsh.
