You don’t NEED this, but it’s so handy!
My husband said we didn’t need this so I held off buying it...in the end I thought, ‘what the hey!’ and got it anyway. When my husband first used it he said reluctantly, ‘actually that is pretty handy’.Works as it’s supposed to, not had a problem with crazy splattering up wall (just occassional spot), easy to rinse with water, strong and can take a good whack without any issues.

Lovely little knock box
I tend to stick to only good / high reviews when purchasing on Amazon, and this product was up there with the best of them, so I had high expectations. When it arrived I was surprised how tiny the knock box was, to the point I was a little concerned. Once unboxed, you immediately feel reassured, yes it is on the compact side but it's plenty for an average household and their coffee each morning. You also immediately realise the box oozes quality and has the correct amount of sturdiness, which at this point I was bowled over. To finish off, the box will always be nicely secured via the inclusion of some welcomed rubber trimmings on the underside.Highly recommended and a must for those at home baristas.

Simple but good.
Bought this as a present for my dad four years ago.Its been used at least twice everyday since then so I would say it is sturdy. It is easy to clean as there is nothing to snag coffee grinds on.Its simple but effective and has stopped him dripping coffee all over the floor as the coffee machine is on the other side of the room from the sink.

This is a compact counter-top knock box for espresso pucks
I thought it was a little on the small side when I received the box - but it's plenty big enough for six double-shot pucks. It cleans up easily and looks smart but understated. I'm glad I chose grey over the red one - it matches my countertop. The rubber covered bar is gentle on the portafilter and it looks like it will give good service.

great gadget for collecting the coffee grounds
this is designed for a coffee ground utensil with a handle but I bought this as a gift for a hob coffee maker and the aero-press. whilst not ideal works well and is a much better solution than banging them around the bin which leaves grounds on the floor and all over the lid of the bin. The coffee ground holder is compact and really nicely made. it was smaller than I thought but this isn't a criticism. It's nice looking and looks good out on the work top. Plus side is that the grounds all go in the composter now rather than landfill.

A smashing little knock box!
What a neat and well made little knock box this is! Just right for me (the only coffee drinker in the house). This non-slip knock box easily takes a days worth of used coffee (about 6 cups worth) which can then be easily be tipped out into the compost bin, and rinsed ready for use again :)

Does the job and compact
I wanted something on the smaller side, for the compact kitchen. I have the Delonghi Dedica and this fits under the shower head when not in use. Sometimes slides - it's not heavy, but not an issue

Tidy up your home coffee machine with the Grindenstein
Solidly made product, solves the problem of getting rid of used coffee grounds and keeps you from having to bang your handle on the garbage bin. The plastic is extremely solid as is the arm on which you bang the handle - I’ve only had it for a month or so but I really don’t see how you can do any damage to it. The little rubber grips on the bottom keep it from sliding and it is a low profile so it easily fits under most home espresso machines (and looks great as well with my black DeLonghi Dedica). Dreamfarm’s packaging is very good to and you even get a small booklet with info on how to recycle used coffee grounds for your plants.
