I recently picked up a pack of Elixir 12152 Electric Guitar Strings, and let me tell you, they're like a breath of fresh air for my guitar. I've been playing for years, and I've tried all sorts of strings, but these stand out in a league of their own. The first thing I noticed was the longevity. I'm the kind of player who goes through strings like there's no tomorrow, especially with daily practice and regular gigs. But these Elixir strings have an incredible lifespan. I've been playing them hard for weeks, and they still sound as fresh and bright as the day I put them on. It's almost like they have a superpower against wear and tear. But longevity is just the start. The tone is what really got me. It's rich, clear, and has this beautiful, resonant quality that brings out the best in my guitar. Whether I'm playing soulful blues or high-energy rock, these strings deliver a consistent, superior sound that never fails to impress. Installation was a breeze too. I remember stringing up my guitar and feeling how smoothly they went on. And once tuned, they held their pitch like a dream, saving me from the constant retuning I had to do with other brands. And let's talk about comfort. These strings feel fantastic under my fingers. Smooth, with just the right amount of tension, they make playing for hours feel effortless. No more sore fingers or struggling to get the perfect bend. I buy these for my son and he loves them. They are more expensive than most but it works out much cheaper in the long run because they last much longer than any other brands he has used.

Elixir strings are amazing, they sound and feel good for ages. I go between either elixir or d'addario and both are really good and i would highly recommend both brands. 10 stars though for elixirs I love these strings!

Look good sounds good easy to use

Elixir are a good brand and they do probably last longer than some other brands. But I don't think there for me, I bought them because I'm lazy when it comes to changing strings so i wanted something that would last. But I'm not keen on these strings so I'm changing them only having used them for 2 weeks. Plus side, delivery was really fast, I got them the next day!

I've been using Elixir strings exclusively for just over a year now, so I think I now have enough experience with them to write an accurate review. Here are some of the benefits I've found: - Longevity (obviously) and reliability: for me, Ernie Balls need to be changed every 4 days or so. D'Addarios are a bit better at around once per week. With the Elixirs I generally only have to change them once per month, and even then they don't lose their tone as much as other strings do, they tend to just get a little 'dull' sounding after that point. Its also worth mentioning that they stay in tune well and they don't corrode like uncoated strings. - Playability: these strings have a slippery feel to them that doesn't really go away. I love this because I feel it gives me better mobility, but if you're not used to it, it might cause you to 'overshoot' your slides. This could be contentious so bear it in mind. - Sound: I've heard criticisms levelled at the sound quality of Elixir strings before, which is why I was initially hesitant to try them. Honestly though, I think they're the best sounding stings I've used; they have a very balanced, clear tone that I really like. Every string outputs the same volume, which is something I don't feel I get with the other brands I've used (though obviously this depends on your pickups). I know that what I've written here sounds more like an advertisement than a review, and I DO usually try to keep my reviews as balanced as possible, but I honestly can't think of anything negative to say here.

Great strings good value for money

i have tried many guitar strings and i absolutely love these, they feel smooth, last ages and sound great. i use these on an ibanez rg-550 and works perfectly

Las cuerdas elixir son para exigentes en la música, en mi opinión entre las mejores que puedes encontrar.

Best quality

Un amigo me recomendo estas cuerdas yo usaba Ernie Ball. La verdad si me quedo con las Elixir. Desde que las puse no se ha oxidado ninguna cuerda, se sienten diferente al inicio dado la capa protectora que tienen, pero nada que uno no se acostumbre.

Usualmente yo usaba ernie ball 11 custom, pero decidi cambiar a un calibre mas ligero . Estas cuerdas me van de maravilla, son super brillantes y me dan un tono y mordida excelentes para hard rock, versátil etc
