ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER READ!
Quite literally. AMAZING. Funny, charming, educational. Made me laugh and cry equally. Andy Weir is obviously VERY VERY INTELLIGENT. He uses his intelligence to open our eyes to things without making us feel stupid. I'm sure 99% of the things that happen in this book could happen in the future. Scientifically. BUY THIS BOOK. THEN BUY A COPY FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE AND WANT TO MAKE HAPPY. I promise you will not regret it.

Good.
The book had one corner slightly bended, but with little effort I could make it alright. The sides of the book have very little dust and bit of black lines or spots.

Andy Weir strikes home run again with his new sci Fi novel. Loved the science, triller and humor in the novel. Definitely worth reading including listening it's audio books.

Sci-fi masterpiece
I absolutely adored PHM. It has everything: adventure, humanity, encounters with alien life forms, suspense, science, and, yes, emotion. I was in awe of the book. What a story. A rather ordinary science teacher is sent to a distant star to save planet Earth and meets an alien, Rocky, who is trying to save his own planet. A beautiful friendship blossoms between the teacher and the alien. It's such a beautiful story. Not a scientific person myself, I wasn't in the least put off by the science in the book. In fact, it's wondrous. This will stay with me for a long time. A truc sci-fi masterpiece and a great story, whether you like the genre or not.

Bence Weir'in en iyi kitabı
Weir yine bilimsel detaylar, denklemler, hesaplar vererek harika bir kurgu yazmış. Bitireli baya oldu hala daha üzerine düşündüğüm bir kitap.

1000% recommend getting this book.
An amazing book. I never finish books really. Always start them, but never end up finishing them. Andy Weirs work I can never put down. So far he’s 2/2 with this and the Martian. Hopefully the Artemis is this good. 10000/10 recommend getting this book.

AMAZE AMAZE AMAZE
Probably my first proper sci-fi of the year, and I went in mainly because of the movie hype, but it absolutely delivered. What I loved most is that there are kind of two main lenses you can read this through, and it really depends on what you gravitate towards. I was talking to a friend about it and she was all in on the companionship between Rocky and Grace, while I was deep in the ethics and humanity side of things such as the moral trade-offs, the decision-making, all of that—and it made for such a good discussion. I think that’s exactly why this book works so well and why it’s become so popular: it genuinely caters to both audiences. You’ve got the people who love the heavy sci-fi, the ethical dilemmas, the “what would humanity actually do?” questions, and then you’ve got the people who just want that emotional core such as friendship, connection, not being alone, and finding comfort in something completely unexpected. I also really loved the ethical manipulation threaded through the story. Like the idea of bombing Antarctica to increase greenhouse gases and buy time. It’s so simple on paper but also so smart, and it says a lot about the kind of short-term band-aids we reach for when we’re staring down something much bigger and more permanent. The science itself was really well balanced too. It’s still science-heavy, but not in an overwhelming way like The Martian can be at times. It felt way more accessible, which made it such an easy read (and listen). And the friendship between Rocky and Grace was beautiful. Thinking about Rocky being alone for so long, with no one even there to watch him sleep genuinely hurt me. The whole process of them learning to communicate and building that relationship had so much more depth in the book than what we’ll probably see on screen, and it was just so well done. There’s something really hopeful about it too, like even with everything going on, it still manages to feel like a comfort read in a weird way. Also, I have to say, the audiobook narrator Ray Porter absolutely carried. He was phenomenal and made an already engaging story even better.
