Very good. Took a bit of getting used to as operating instructions are inside instead of being printed out in a leaflet for dummies like me. Not as good as my old Sony but at half the price I'm happy enough.

This item is well built but absolutely dreadful. The fonts are too small and despite an hour to Amazon support could not be changed, resulting in a return. Apart from the font size, the contrast is poor, anything grey is a illegible. The device is slow. The version of Android is ancient and cannot be updated (v4). It does not have the play store, just a third party one. There is no headphone socket. Highly dissapointing, given I have purchased a larger faster more modern tablet for less 3 years ago. I understand e-Ink displays aren't as cheap as LCDs, but this is still ridiculous.

The kobo app stopped working in like 2019 on this thing. Still read kindle books on it tho, so thanks amazon for not being evil in this instance.

Very slow. Does not remember the last page you were reading. In order to make it remember, you need to bookmark, then get out to the library and check it again after. After 4 months of use skipping to the next page is not always responding. So definately regret that I did not sent it back, like the design though...

If you want something like a Kindle where there is no set up required then this might not be for you BUT if you want a fantastic and flexible little e-reader which is great value for money then look no further. The e-ink screen means a long, long time between charges (maybe two weeks) providing you are not using WiFi much. Only down side is no back light but the display is very clear even at low light levels. It has a MicroSD slot which will take up to a 32GB card on which you can put your own epub/mobi/pdf files. You cannot run Google Play Store and as it comes (out of the box), there are not many applications in its application store (maybe a dozen or so) BUT if you go on the goodreader.com web site and look for InkBook Classic 2 Review then there are instructions for downloading their e-Ink play store (completely legal). You copy the downloaded APK file onto the MicroSD card and select it with the file browser and suddenly your have LOTS of applications at your disposal! I run Mantano Reader, Amazon Kindle Reader, Pocket Manga + Firefox for web browsing. Utterly brilliant little e-reader and just what I wanted.

I purchased the product when I was abroad and relied on informal mail delivery from family. As neither they nor I were expecting the shoebox sized package it arrived in, the item was not forwarded to me. On my return to UK I fired it up and attempted to add Kobo from inkBooks site. It installed but I could not log into Kobo my account. InkBook said that as the Kobo app. was not theirs the failure has nothing to do with them. As my return to the UK puts me outside the 30 day return period I am out £68.00. If your use is with KOBO, do not buy.

An excellent choice for a basic e-reader that allows me to install both the Kindle and Kobo Android apps, and borrow books using my local library's Overdrive facility (my old Kindle did not allow this). The Kindle app doesn't function perfectly, as it was not designed for e-ink. eg. books appear on the front page but can't be accessed from there and instead need a few more clicks through the app, the page turn buttons don't work so it's touchscreen-only, and some problems with touchscreen when highlights appear. But it seems quite usable so far. The Midiapolis book store that is default won't be of much use to many as most of the titles are in Polish.

Habe das Ink Book Ende April bei Amazon gekauft. Es wurde eingesetzt um Skoobe E Books lesen zu können. Leider entsprach das Produkt nicht den Anforderungen. Es ist sehr langsam und zäh im Aufbau der einzelnen Seiten des E Books. Die 4 Tasten drohen bei kleinster Berührung abzubrechen. Ende August wies dann das gerät folgendes Bild auf ( siehe Bild). Die Nachfrage bei polnischen Support ergab den Hinweis, das der Reader angeblich gebrochen wäre, broken e-ink screen. Das muss dann irgendwie passiert sein, gefallen ist der Reader ncht. ME eine faule Ausrede.mit der sich die polnische Firma versucht sich aus der Verantwortung zu stehlen. Mein Rat: Finger weg vom Produkt!!!

Si presenta bene, ma dopo l'aggiornamento di sistema è diventato instabile, quando tolgo un segnalibro va in crash, non apre ne il google play ne tanto meno google play libri, è lento e il suo book store è in polacco o tedesco. Restituisco sicuramente è mi meraviglio che Amazon venda ancora questo articolo ma soprattutto che la arta tech non abbia rimediato ai notevoli problemi del prodotto, visto che non sono il primo a lamentarsi.

En primer lugar, aunque es android, no puedes instalar nada, y no puedes sincronizar tu libros con tu otros dispositivos. Me ha durando un libro, lo apague por la noche y por la mañana, ya no arrancaba, por mucho que lo reseterara, el servicio atención al cliente en la web nada. Al final lo he devuelto. Menos mas que tengo cuenta prime, sino me lo como con patatas, y se hubiera convertido en un pisapapeles.

Anfang Juli diesen Jahres kaufte Ich meine inkBOOK Classic 2 auf Amazon und erhielt es in der zweiten Monatshälfte. Im Lieferumfang des Readers befindet sich ein Ladekabel, eine Anleitung zum Anschließen des Gerätes an den Computer, eine kurze Bedienungsanleitung und eine Garantiekarte. Die Produktverpackung lässt sich wie ein Buch öffnen. Unmittelbar nach der Entnahme des Gerätes aus der Box und dem Durchlaufen des Tutorials sowie dem Verbinden mit dem WiFi-Netzwerk erschien eine Meldung über das verfügbare Software-Update. Das neue Softwarepaket wurde in wenigen Minuten heruntergeladen, nach dem Download wurde das Gerät zurückgesetzt und die Firmware wurde innerhalb von 2 Minuten aktualisiert. Das InkBOOK Classic 2 kostet ca. 90 EUR, was für seine Fähigkeiten einen attraktiven Preis darstellt. Ein großes Plus ist die Batterie, denn ich konnte das Gerät für einige Wochen ohne Aufladen betreiben. Durch die Seiten können Sie je nach Vorlieben über die physischen Tasten oder Berühren der rechten oder linken Seiten des Bildschirms blättern. Die Tasten können Sie zudem nach Ihren eigenen Wünschen konfigurieren. Da der Reader auf Android basiert, lassen sich zudem auch weitere Anwendungen installieren. Kindle auf dem inkBOOK? Kein Problem. Die Akkukapazität beträgt 2000 mAh und der Text wird auf einem 6-Zoll-E-Ink-Bildschirm mit einer Auflösung von 800x600 Pixeln angezeigt. Der Ein / Aus-Schalter auf der Rückseite des Gerätes ist ergonomisch geformt und lässt sich bequem bedienen. Der liegt gut in der Hand, ist leicht und ich mag das Design. Der eingebaute 4 GB Speicher ist für mich persönlich ausreichend, aber wenn jemand mehr benötigt, kann der Speicherplatz mit Hilfe einer Speicherkarte problemlos erweitert werden. Ich bin mit meinem Kauf zufrieden und wenn ich wieder die Entscheidung treffen müsste, würde ich nicht zögern, erneut das inkBOOK zu kaufen. Der einzige Nachteil des Gerätes, der mit allerdings schon vor dem Kauf bewusst war, ist die fehlende Frontbeleuchtung. Ich brauche sie nicht, weshalb ich auch das Classic 2 anstelle des Prime Modells gewählt habe.
