Does What I Wanted It To Do!
Only used this for about an hour but it's been fine. When I first plugged the HDMI cable (attached to the extender) into the back of my PC (while the PC was on), I got a white screen, rebooted and got a blue screen. I decided to unplug the cable, turn my PC off, then plug it in while the PC was off. All was fine when I turned my PC back one. I am able to get 1080/1440/2160p with UHD colour on @60Hz. Now I can finally duplicate my monitor and game on my 4K TV when I don't want to sit at my computer desk.The reason I got the extender in the first place was because my PC monitor and 4K TV are at opposite sides of the room so I was running a 10m HDMI cable. At that length, there wasn't enough bandwidth to enable UHD colour (doing so resulted in a black flashing on and off display). Now I am using a 5M HDMI cable, this extender and a 2M HDMI cable.

OK the 10 minutes, then it overheats and dies - not working as an extender for the occulus rift.

Does what it is supposed to, solving a real problem as my cables were plastered into the wall by this point!
