Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar 127g

This product is amazing for my son's teenage acne. We can tell on the days he doesn't use it as his skin on his face is dull, this cleansing bar really cleans gently while 'lifting' his skin. I use it every now and then for an indepth clean. It is expensive (so don't waste it on your body) but it is really amazing for the face

I am VERY happy with this product. Normal soap irritates my armpits so much that I chose to stop washing them! This gentle cleansing bar allows me to wash and my skin is able to tolerate deodorant occasionally now. You may think that's still not great but it's a hundred times better than not washing at all. And cos I only use it on my armpits (worry not: I can use normal soap for everywhere else), one bar lasts for about 30 showers.

Great soap for my face which is very sensitive with dry rashes, spots and dark blemishes. I found that it cleans deep down without drying out my face e.g that tight dry feeling you get when you wash your face with some products is non existent with this cleansing bar. I've been using this soap for 1 month now along with the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and the moisturising cream and family & friends have noticed a great improvement in my skin. I will continue to use these products as at the moment they are the only products I've used which have not caused an irritation on my face in a long time!

I've been using this soap, in bars, for over 3 years now. It's the best cleansing product I have ever used on my face! I speak from experience; for I tried many many brands as I lived in several countries...However now, I know! I always make sure to stock up on it. There's a liquid form , but personally I prefer the bar.

Great service first of all. Add for the product itself, would highly recommend if you sister from red, itchy dry skin like I do. It's made a world of difference. Doesn't irritate at all and the bar lasts for ages, I use it a couple of times a day. Highly recommend from a fellow red face.

I doubt that this is the real Cetaphil Bar made by Galderma and think that it is a copy and hence its low price. If you look at the more expensive bars on Amazon you will read "from Cetaphil" as the supplier, and on the packet itself, bottom right hand corner "Galderma". This combination of names represent the cleansing bar that is approved by dermatologists. It would be helpful if Amazon would check this kind of detail itself before allowing copy products on its website without stating same.

I suffer from dermatitis and eczema on my hands and I struggle to find any soaps or cleansing products that do not irritate my skin. This is a great product and has not caused me any problems. It has a slightly medicinal smell, but it's not unpleasant, and it has a nice creamy feel. Very pleased - will order more.

I was recommended this soap by my dermatologist to help manage my Seborrheic Dermatitis. Unfortunately, this soap further irritated my face. I tried using the product less frequently to help sustain the side effects but the same problems continued to arise. I bought this product for my face, however, I now use the bar for my hands. When the bar descends I will never purchase another.

It's bitterly cold and dry this winter - no news, I know - and I was noticing that after showers I was feeling even more itchy and dry than usual. I use Cetaphil liquid soap to wash my face, Cetaphil lotion for moisturizing face and body - so I thought I'd give the bar soap a try in the shower before I dried up and vanished from the face of the earth before Spring. I bought it, I used it, have used it for a week now, and it's made a big difference in how comfortable my skin feels. I'm very happy I finally tried the bar soap, and I have no plans of switching back to my previous soap (Ivory) in bath, shower, or next to the sink for handwashing. Great brand, Cetaphil, and I've no qualms at all at recommending it to anyone and everyone. Also: this Cetaphil bar soap, fragrance wise, is either fragrance free or if it does have added fragrance, I can't discern anything and I'm super sensitive to fragrances, so if you prefer no fragrance in your soap for whatever reason, you can rest assured that this soap won't bother you in that regard, either.

Has a slight fragrance and wish it didn't, but not harsh on sensitive skin.

Good, not too moisturizing though, for super dry hands.
