Punch Bunch Small Punch, Circle, 12mm

This little punch has had bad reviews but I don't know why. It is well-made and cuts accurately every time. I am only using it for paper 120 gsm so cannot say how it would cut heavier materials. No uncut edges or distortion. It is not difficult to use or press. I need accurate circles and that's what I get with this little gem. The price is good too.

I had 0 issues punching through hq glossy photo paper with this. And to see where I was punching I just flipped it upside down with the desired punch area facing towards me. I find it easiest to place two thumbs on each side of the bottom and use 2 fingers on the punch button to press the punch blade through. Very easy to line up exactly. The punch size is 12 mm which was perfect for my print outs!Thanks.

this punch requires some seriously strong hands! I have to use both hands to punch through a single sheet of paper!

This is the only 12mm circle punch I could find. There is one other but it simultaneously punches 3 different sized circles. I bought this to use with making 12mm cabochons. 1/2” punches are a fraction of an inch too big for that. I did see the negative reviews, but since I couldn’t find anything 12mm, I decided to try it out. Yep, works great, but holy cow is it hard to push. Because I have to turn it over to make sure I am punching out a specific image, I don’t get the leverage I need and it takes excessive force. Since I plan on selling these cabochons, I’ve been trying to punch out a lot and it’s so difficult I aggravated my tendinitis in my wrist and thumb. This just doesn’t have the leverage needed, especially if you’re someone like me or someone with arthritis or any other gripping/hand strength issues. Yes, I tried the hack of using wax paper punches to “lube” it and aluminum foil to sharpen it. That isn’t the issue. So I glued 3 popsicle sticks together twice, to make handles, and zip tied them to the punch. Works great now and easy to push with the leverage! They need to rethink their design of the button and then it’ll be perfect. Till then, I’ll use my popsicle handle hack.

Bought this to make mini cabochons for beading- I got this one because I didn't want to wait a week and a half for a lever punch... should have waited. This one takes so much force to use, it's so disappointing.
