J5 Tactical Super Bright 300 Lumen V1-Pro LED 300 Lumen Tactical Torch Police Military Flashlight

2nd review of this product. It's dinky, discreet, and durable. Perfect for use during powercuts, coastal and woodland hikes or treks under cover of darkness, and general security purposes, or even as a flashlight for use during night hours when activating household lights might disturb others' slumber.The dispersal range is excellent for a device of this size, though my only gripe concerns the dispersal patterns; apparently the J5 can move to pulse and narrow field modes. I've yet to determine how to activate those, and the fact that it is delivered without any operating instructions, renders my ability to learn this function somewhat diminished. I'd recommend you check the best way to activate these functions online; perhaps You Tube might be helpful?

This is a great product and for the price is a brilliant torch. Yes there are much better torch's out there but this one is small, compact and will light your way. The lens is not bad on the torch either, not a bright white like my friends Nitecore (4x the price of this touch) but the put my old Mag light to shame (Mag light look yellow in comparison)...I would deffo buy another if mine died. Been using 2450mAh AA rechargeable batteries with it.

I was on the lookout for a tactical torch for a weekend away and came to Amazon to look for a big pricey one that I'd read about online. Knowing I'd probably only use it for that weekend before throwing it into a drawer once back home I decided to buy this for £15 after reading so many positive reviews.Excited about my massive special forces style torch I pictured myself walking with my family through the forest in the dark of the night. Suddenly we were confronted by a group of would-be thieves armed with knives and threatening to harm us. As they got closer I pulled out my secret weapon, shining it into the face of our attackers, stunning them with the super bright flash before driving it into the face of the biggest one and taking him down, followed by his friends one by one. Scared and badly hurt, they begged me for mercy before running off into the cover of darkness. My sons cheered for joy as their hero Daddy saved the day, my other half watched in awe, visibly excited that her man the alpha male had shown such bravery and bravado to protect them.I strolled back to our lodge with my chest puffed out and my massive balls dragging along the ground. I woke suddenly to a knock at the door and realised I was back in reality and that the postman had arrived with my amazon parcel."Maybe they're sending it later" I thought to myself as the postman handed me the small parcel, way too small to contain my massive tactical torch. Intrigued, I ripped open the packet. As the contents became visible my face dropped and my heart sank."What the f is that?!" I asked myself. It was my tactical torch. It was tiny. Not even big enough to knock out a squirrel if one decided to attack me.I quickly checked Amazon in the hope that they'd sent me a miniature version by mistake. But there had been no mistake on their part. The only mistake made had been by me. I didn't think to check the size.So there I was, my fantasy in tatters as I prepared for our trip. There was no time to buy another before we left.I realised then that I'd have to put up with the disappointment of my below average length tool and suddenly I knew then how my girlfriend must have felt.I'll still give this 5 stars though, purely because the light is powerful, it's well made and very lightweight.

Great light and a lot of punch for the price. Don't exactly need the strobe on it but it is cool. Nice white light instead of the usual yellow. Really tactile and responsive button to easily shift between modes. Perfect for what I need.

No battery supplied but torch is good

The J5 Flashlight is a good price and is well made and solid but not heavy. Fits nicely into a pocket but gives off a good light. Arrived within a few days of ordering. Very satisfied with purchase.

This is a well built, sturdy flashlight that is surprisingly light and a comfortable fit inthe hand. The brightness of the LED is superb and the focusing action is lovely and smooth. All round a great piece of EDC kit.

I just got this flashlight yesterday. I popped a rechargeable AA battery in and tested it out. It works flawlessly. The light output is really nice and bright with a AA. It apparently is even brighter if you use a 14500 Rechargeable. It feels great when holding it. The body is designed to allow for a nice grip, so it won't slip from your hand. For me, it's not too big or too small and has a good weight.Here are a few other things I really like about the J5 Tactical V1-Pro:- Uses only one AA battery. That makes this flashlight more portable, since AAs are available pretty much everywhere.- IPX 4 rating = splashproof from any angle.- 1/2 button press to switch between the 3 light modes (High, low and strobe)- Sturdy construction. This thing feels solid in hand.- Adjustable head to change beam focus.- Sturdy clip to hook this on to pants or in a back pack.I'll be carrying this with me everywhere I go now.I'm very pleased with this flashlight.

I've had this flashlight for over 2 years now and it hasn't failed me once. It isn't the brightest thing in the world nor does the light go the furthest, but for the price you can't go wrong with this little light. I wish I ordered 3 or 4 of these things, but now they're unavailable.

Bought two for my wife and me for everyday usage. It's been highly effective and reliable thus far. It's a budget flashlight and has exceeded my expectations for its price/performance ratio.

This is a nicely designed and built little flashlight which worked right out of the box (once I popped in a AA battery). The brightest setting is quite bright and the dimmer setting will work fine for me for closer tasks. I didn't want to mess around with something unreliable so I decided to spend just a few more $$ on this one after reading the reviews, and it looks like a very good choice for the money as all the parts are machined and assembled well. I really like the clip feature which will keep it safe in my breast pocket when I lean forward. The size is great -- 4" long and just fits in the palm of my hand, fine for tucking into a pocket or purse if you don't want to carry it on your belt. I probably won't use the strobe mode very often and at first I was annoyed by having to cycle through it with the switch, but then I found the terrific "soft touch" feature which means you don't have to switch it on and off to change modes, just touch the end button softly to cycle through them once the flashlight is already switched on. As a bonus, I really like the hunter orange, which is easy to find.p.s. I could not find the country of origin anywhere on the box or the flashlight -- I'm guessing China based on price and since that's where all these things come from now, but the box has an American flag and "God Bless America" printed on it. Unlike a lot of the Chinese-made junk, this one at least seems to be designed in America (and they did a good job on that).p.p.s. My flashlight arrived in just 24 hours, before I actually got the shipping notice -- thanks Amazon!!
