Comes pretty dang sharp! In a nice sheath as well! + ***3.5 year update!
I don't really collect knives and swords, but I have a couple. I often become so picky that I wont buy one because it's not exactly what I want. Many of my pocket knives are fairly cheap models that I simply took a shine too. I shopped long and hard for a small/medium belt carry full tang knife for my outdoor life style. Several months in fact. Hated most of what I saw, but this one is in the sweet spot for what I wanted though it was a little expensive. Now that I've relented to the purchase and received it today, I really like it. Spot on for what I wanted in a belt knife, just right for my needs and picky tastes. It is surely well made from quality materials and the design is nothing short of ergonomic perfection for my hands. So it was not too expensive after all but worth the price for sure. I hope it lasts a lifetime of use and mild abuse but never neglect, this steel will rust up if you don't keep up with it. The best knife and tool steel does that. Cosmetically, the blade had a rough scuff on one side, I'll put more scuffs on it soon enough so not a big deal, I'm not collecting this knife- I'm using it! - *** 3.5 year 11-25 update! - I still like the knife a lot but the sheath is getting worn down and a little loose around the knife. All in all, I'd say, This knife is an elegantly made and utilitarian designed knife of absolute goodness, the sheath , well it's not so durable and it may hang in for a while, may want to shop for a better one like I am. I'm just so picky, leaning towards BPS knife sheath, I have several of their fine knives as well, another quite excellent product I found that meets up with my picky tastes. But the sheath on the BPS knives is totally kick ass. Just need the right size. I'll not deduct a star for the sheath, not a major problem really, they do wear out. I'd still recommend this knife for a sturdy small/medium multi purpose knife. - I'm considering buying the "Binky" rosewood knife from these guys, another elegant looking hunting style knife, a little bigger for Bushcraft tasks. Whoever designed these knives, is hitting my sweet spot for design, looks, materials and function. And I guess I am collecting knives now.. far out. And I just hate a knife that looks like it fell off a Klingon's battle belt, there is just so much of that out there, cheap flashy garbage, who buys that junk?- Not me, I want a real knife, this Aubey is a really nice knife, I do indeed recommend it.

Great nice for the price
I waited to do a review of this knife, as I initially purchased it as an occasional carry/use item. However recently, I started to daily carry it. The knife feels great in the hand. It's got a nice weight to it, despite being far more light than I had expected for being D2 tool steel. Which helps with how nicely it feels in hand, along side of the ergonomically shaped hand grip. I have not sharpened mine yet, and it is razor sharp right out of the box. Beings I haven't used the knife a lot, I'm unsure of how well it will retain its edge. But I will update this review as time goes on and it's use is well under way. As far as design, it's an attractive knife. A lot of the guys I work with want it. I like the versatile sheath that very nicely secures the knife. Just wish it has a little more options for how it can be carried. It's super nice ad it holds the knife close to the body and very securely. Both crucial for a daily carry knife. So overall so far- it's a dang good knife at a dang good price. I highly recommend it if you want something tough, comfortable, and great for a daily carry and use knife. After I use mine more, I will update the review and adjust star rating accordingly. For now, I'm giving it 5 stars. But that may change over time.

Good quality Blade for the price
Sturdy blade, The stainless steel is also quite pleasing to the eye, the leather sheath pairs nicely and looks like it will hold up well. The knife arrived decently sharp.

Aubey Green for $35
Trying to put this logically; stunning. Sharp edge that shaves and probably should not have tried the old table leg apparently, but she will get over it. Everything just is wow from sheath to a green and black handle that stands out from the leather medium brown. The best consolidation of all thoughts right now, including perfect fit in hand, this is the Goldilocks camp knife I have been looking for (how they say it this day, your milage may very). Price point is low enough and quality high enough (both blade and sheath). You feel the quality which is impossible to explain like saying this smells so good. Spring through early fall, this is going to be my camping knife. Difference between survival, camping, bushcraft and homesteading is duration. Kinfe is only worth it if you are willing to use it and then it lasts that duration. Even the sheath is probably going a decade, like my Buck 119 and same side snap lay out. Second knife from the company and they are made well apparently consistent quality, this will probably be more about your hand and the grip. I cannot get the pictures to upload, so feel free to tag and ask.

Quality knife/knives. Nice sheaths for belt carry.
I'm reviewing both the Aubey A-D2 (ASIN# B0969WMW77) and the C-D2 (ASIN# B09W5GKZFS) knives. These are excellent knives at a good price that I would happily use any day and I'm sure they would be a great choice for all purposes listed in the description and more. It's obvious that quality and function was well thought out from the materials chosen all the way to shipping. I have zero complaints about these knives but unfortunately, after trying them I've realized that I will have to return them. They are simply not right for my current specific need, which is a slightly smaller, discreet fixed blade to fit in my front pocket next to my phone to use for daily tasks, work etc. I love the look of the mirror polish on the A-D2 knife with the orange/ brown handle but I can't carry it every day. I've noticed that it can get peoples attention and make them uncomfortable to see a shiny blade even if you're just using it to cut a loose string from your pants. Note: the sheaths for these two knives are not interchangeable. The sheath that comes with the black blade retains the blade with the leather button strap around the finger guard. The sheath with the polished blade does not have a finger guard, it retains the blade with a friction fit. If someone wanted to carry it in their pocket I would consider wrapping it with a rubber material like what is used to keep area rugs from slipping, that would keep the sheath in your pocket while you draw the knife. I tried, it worked.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Fixed Blade – Outstanding Value for the Price
I’m very impressed with this AUBEY fixed blade knife. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well-built. The full-tang construction inspires confidence, and the D2 blade came sharp with a clean, attractive finish. For a knife in this price range, the fit and finish exceeded my expectations. The G10 handle has excellent grip and feels comfortable in hand, even during extended use. Balance is very good, making it easy to control whether you’re doing light camp tasks, food prep, or general outdoor use. The blade shape is versatile and practical, not just for show. The leather sheath is another pleasant surprise—sturdy, well-stitched, and attractive. It holds the knife securely and looks far better than the typical budget sheath. Overall, this is an outstanding value fixed blade. It punches well above its price point and would be a great addition for camping, hiking, or general outdoor use. I would absolutely recommend this knife and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from AUBEY again.

Old style with great quality.
I love this knife. It reminds me of a cross between a pirate and a bowie knife. The quality is great. The hilt and the handle fit well, but I would like to see a larger size. The sheath is well made and very well stitched. It has a riveted belt loop with a riveted hold down strap that has a nice hilt strap with a snap. There is some nice tooling that is basic but works well to break up the plainess. Everybody has their own preference, but for me I would not have had the blade so polished, because they polished this thing like a mirror. Also I would love for them to make a bigger version, but like I said that's all personal. The knife was built well, materials are great and it feels great in the hand, If you collect knives, or know someone who does get one quick. It certainly gets my stamp of approval (STAMP) GOOD BUY Good Bye

Decent knife, sheath is NOT leather
I like the knife. Attractive wood handle. Simple blade. Very sharp. Only issue with the knife itself is there is no gimping on the top of the blade to help your thumb not to slip. The yellow paracord lanyard is cheesy. Would have been nice if it was leather cord. The sheath is the biggest disappointment. It is a synthetic material, NOT LEATHER. Also it would be nice if the belt loop was 2-1/2”.
