I have type 3b-3c curls and I dye my hair regularly. I also sometimes have it curly, sometimes straight. There is no heat damage to my hair (if I straighten, I leave my hair to air dry, followed by iron at 180C with heat protection serum and my hair is only straightened once a week on wash day) however it is naturally very dry and I have noticed it is getting drier as I age...This has done the trick. I have used Kerastase products in the past and this is actually better. You don't need much, it's quite a thick product. It is leaving my hair in much better condition, the curls are soft and last longer. My hair is nourished and shiny.If you'd like to know, here's what I do: I brush (on dry hair with a tangle teaser) wash my hair (shampoo only), towel dry gently and add the masque, which I leave on for 30 minutes. Then rinse (head down over the bath) and squeeze the extra water out gently. I follow with the leave in conditioner from the same range, finger comb, then Denman brush to be fully tangle free (still head down), give it a little shake, squeeze the curls gently and finally plop for 30 minutes. No need for gel...I leave to hair dry or occasionally diffuse on low heat in winter. I put it up in a loose high bun at night time. Come wash day, it's not tangled at all, but I do wash my hair twice a week when it's curly. My hair is long (middle of the back).

Amazing product. I use this for my deep conditioning every two weeks and after 3 uses, I have noticed a lot of difference. My hair looks healthier and shinier. It also feels softer and slightly thicker. I have noticed some growth around my edges as well. The smell is heavenly and even after a few days and use of my leave-in conditioner, I can still smell it on my hair. I apply a generous amount to my damp hair after conditioner - washing (co-washing). I don't have a dryer and so I wrap my hair in cling film and let the cream sit for about 30 mins. The description suggests 20 mins but I leave on for longer mostly because my hair needs it and the smell as well :). It doesn't itch and my really sensitive scalp responds well to it.The cream is fairly thick and I reckon I could get another 3 uses out of it for my 8-inch Afro natural hair. Not bad for the price

This was recommend by one of my hairdressers who specialises in cutting naturally curly or Afro hair. My hair is fine and straight and is soooo dry. (I'm half Turkish and half English and my hair is more English...) No matter what I've previously put in my hair ends (oils etc), about a week after having a haircut, the ends fuzz out and look backcombed. I'm not kidding. I'm not even using my hairdryer at the moment. I've tried using the shampoos and conditioners I've seen friends with great hair using in gyms, but my hair refused to change its ways.This is fabulous. Used as a mask after shampooing (keeping on for 40 mins under a shower cap), my hair looks soft, shiny and the ends actually look tamed. It looks like well behaved hair again - wow! The rest of the hair looks great too. (No grease or heaviness.) Having only used it once or twice, the effect wears off after a couple of days, but as my hairdresser reminded me, hair masks only work if you keep using them every few days at first. I intend to!

I have 4c transitioning hair and this product was fabulous it allows alot of slip to my hair and also feels stronger afterwards it took time for the hair to become restored but i can tell that every wash and deep condition my hair it can retain moisture much longer as its improving and less breakage is occurring however my hair only felt moisturised for additional 4 hours until it got dry once again would definitely want to but this product again if it was more moisturising since my hair can get very dry very easily this is my go to product would recommend this to anyone

Absolutely amazing product, you don't need a lot of it and it's thick and easy to apply! Really impressed and will be buying again!

Yes , it's not the cheapest and it shouldn't be! It works so good on my hair and it's incredible how soft it makes it. I've not been kind to my hair, i use hair dye every month and apply heat often but this just literally makes it smell incredible and so addictive to touch. My hair is curly full of volume, i have a normal scalp and some mild dandruff, it didn't make anything worse or any side effects. Highly recommend this brand. I am also using their leave in conditioner and highly pleased

First time buying Shea Moisture products and I must say I Love Love Love them.I have been transitioning for over a year now and have struggled to find products that really moisture my hair. All my old relaxed hair products don't work, obviously. And my hair has just been getting by until now.
