1 hour after arriving: The watch is ver nice! heavy and strong. The time zones it uses are wrong the ones in Europe are the other way arround. The tide settings are hard but there is definatly an English desciption with it. For me tide settings are new, if you are more experienced it must be easy. Good watch, good price. I paid £24.

This is the review after the first hour - everything is fine except the instructions that come with the watch with reference to setting the tide data. The instructions are less than clear (the usual crappy translation problem) which means I cannot YET get the watch to work as described (despite following the instructions given). A quick look on the web reveals no help on setting the tide. The LAD website is useless too - the watch is not even listed (no matter whether UK, US) and there's no product support etc. This is annoying and just plain LAZY on the part of the manufacturer/supplier/importer/ whatever. For comparison, I've had every Casio tide watch ever produced over the last 15 years, and they have all been easy to set using the lunar interval method (or whatever it's called). This is all frustrating because what looks so GREAT on this watch is the large display size - and this is what is unique and drew me to it. I'll come back with a final review when I've spent a little more time trying to work out the tide setting function. In summary, looks great, looks promising, but documentation and function setting is wanting.

Love this. It's the third tidewatch I've owned and is very easy to set up. The tide display lasts for quite a while before it goes out of 'sync'.It's survived quite a few dunks in the sea.

Good watch, have had no problems setting, etc.. I have had the watch a while now and the strap has broken, through just normal use. Unable to get a replacement strap and LAD do no suppy straps for it. The pin goes through the watch itself, so can not get a sports strap to thread trough. Think carefully before buying. As now i have a watch in good working order but can not wear. Good watch but because unable to get a new strap for it, I would say look elsewhere

I bought this for the tide feature while sea kayaking, its a big watch, tide graph is clear and obvious, took awhile to set it up. Sticking to Bude and Chichester harbour which so far seems accurate enough but brain needs a rest before going for a third location. All in all very happy with this product...

Only not 5 stars because instructions are a little confusing and the silver finish has come off, possibly because it got smeared with sunblock a lot in the summer. The tide function was tricky to get working until I realised you just have to set the time and date of your most recent 'spring' high tide. Once I did this it worked perfectly. nice clear display with a good backlight and all the functions I need in a watch plus a few I don't.

Strong and sturdy great value for money nice and clear to read

Nothing wrong with the watch itself. It tells the time and has all the standard features such as world clock, stopwatch, alarms, etc. It even has some features for tides and moon phases, which I don't expect I'll be using myself.Unfortunately it doesn't have an altimeter or a barometer, as stated in the product description. The altimeter was the main reason I chose this particular watch over others. I have therefore wasted my money, and will have to look for another one.
