Best watch ever great value

Great price for a functional watch - and the indiglo function is great in low light. Time keeping seems consistent so far: haven’t had to adjust it yet and still holding good time six weeks after purchase. I have had a few positive comments as it’s a nice looking basic watch. Strap is just big enough but didn’t come with any extra links, so if your wrist is more than 7 inches around, it might be uncomfortable.

Bought this watch as a Christmas present, I had previously seen the exact same watch in a jewellers and liked it except it was double the price so decided to shop around, so glad I saw it on amazon

Excellent value for money and very smart time keeper. Battery lasts more than a year unless you use its interior light.

Purchased this watch for an elderly neighbour. She was having a hard time seeing the numbers/time on her old ladies sized watch, so this much larger face with numbers makes a huge difference. The strap was teeny bit too big, but not enough to get it adjusted - so fits her small wrists well without being stretched. Waterproof is a bonus so that she can keep it on all the time, as well as the Indiglo light by pushing the crown. Very easy to set and over a week has kept excellent time. Highly recommend this watch.

Purchased in February and it died beyond repair in October. A rubbish watch.

The watch itself is fine, easy to read and Indiglo is good for low light/dark situations. The expansion band on the other hand is a nightmare to adjust if you need to remove links/sections. I have a 7.5" wrist and I still had to remove 3 sections to get the right fit, you literally have to deconstruct the whole band where you want to remove the sections ! (usually rite in the middle of the band is the norm). I have resized many bracelets on watches in my collection, from push pin to collar and pin etc.etc, and none were as complicated as this band. My advice would be if you don't have the right tools or experience take it to a jewelers and let them struggle with it, (I hate telling people to do that btw). Anyway the time keeping is quite good although as its a Timex expect quite a loud TICK compared to other watch makes, and bare in mind that although the case looks stainless it's not, it's a brass case underneath and when the coating wears off the brass will show through! After saying all that I still like the watch, if you want an old school easy to read watch then I have to recommend this offering from Timex.

It is exactly as it should be and was the standard for a gentleman's watch for years. The face is easy to read, the band comfortable, and the light helpful at night. Elegant and not ostentatious.

I haven't worn a watch in years. I'm picky with the styles, and they get banged up, or misplaced. I don't know what I was looking for, but this came up in my suggestions, and I decided I needed it. It reminds me of the old style watches, my Grandpa, and Edward Hopper paintings. Just a clean classic style, with none of that extra schnick schnack, that's fine for those that need it. I don't need it. I do love the indiglo feature, though. I must restrain from using it too often. If it's reallllly quiet, yes, you can hear it ticking. FFS, it's a watch, that's what they do. It's not obscenely loud, like some €3 watch from a cheesy souvenir shop. The price can't be beat. I figure, it's a Timex, the quality must be good. It fits me fine, slightly loose, but not flopping all up and down my arm. Though, it's advertised as a men's item, so I can imagine it might be a bit snug for many men. I'm not the daintiest woman, but my wrists aren't obese, so the band length might be a problem for some. I liked it so much, I ordered a similar one, with the leather band.

easy reader with light too. Good for old people and for young. My mum very happy.
