This mirror is big/small enough to take with you when you travel. I took mine on a trip I took, and it was perfect, you will be able to put your makeup on sitting at one of the desk in a hotel room. I did have to place a tissue box under it for me to put on my makeup, I’m pretty sure that had more to do with the desk and chair height though. It was very sturdy. I put a regular fast food napkin to cover the mirror part when it is folded. That was because I lost the little white sheet that came with it. I do that to keep dust off of it and I also wrap it in a hand towel for some extra protection if you do put it a suitcase. All in all, this mirror serves it’s purpose. Plus it makes a great gift. (You can see the sizing in the pic, that is a 16oz cup beside it).

I bought this for my seven year old daughter to use for playing with makeup. It is easy for her to use, light weight, and i feel it is safer, as for my concern of her playing with a glass object. Some makeup mirror's casing is sub-par and when dropped easily crack and break. This mirror has a square, padded casing that provides good protection if it is dropped. Overall, i really like the item for safety reasons, cuteness, and portabilty.

This mirror is nice, exactly as pictured. We haven’t used it to travel yet. I mostly got it for use in a kid’s room. There’s no space for a vanity like the kids wanted so I set up a jewelry area on a shelf and slipped this in. They open it when they need it and fold it right back up. Takes up so little space and the color is a nice touch. We got the pink. Only downside is our first one did arrive broken, but I was able to return it and reorder without issue.

Looks like it will last. Wish it would have come with an elastic band to keep it from opening up in my suitcase. Very good buy for the money.

A great value for the $. Bought this to leave at my son's house when I spend the night, and it is perfect. I can easily see all of the back of my hair and more to make sure it looks fine before leaving for work. (He wasn't very helpful when I would ask if my hair looked ok in the back!) Now I KNOW how it looks! Great mirror, stands up pretty well for putting on make-up. As others have said, you need a good light source. The covering is sturdier than I expected, so that's a huge bonus. Overall a good deal.

Really cute mirror, you can adjust the angle, it's lightweight and fits perfectly in my makeup bag. It also doubles as a phone holder so you can watch videos on your cellphone while sitting back.

Bought this for upcoming vacay. I didn’t want a magnified mirror but something I could sit on the vanity to do makeup or to use to check out my hair after styling. This mirror comes with a nicely padded cover then opens up to a good sized mirror with a bottom section to allow the mirror to stand independently on vanity. Then when I want to pick it up to look at my hair it folds back into just one piece I can easily hold with one hand. Will fit into a tote, your carry-on where ever you have a tiny amount of space. As I said mirror is not magnified so if you need 5x to put on your eyeliner carry a compact magnified mirror b/c this is just a nice regular mirror. Good value for the $$

Arrived broken. I just threw it away. Bummer because it looked like a good product.
