Pentiums in 2017. Who knew they'd be this great!?
The Pentium G4400 is an excellent choice for really low budget builds. This includes a perfectly capable cooler that will not need changing as this cpu does not get that hot.For the inexperienced or first time builders:This will be a perfect gaming combo for anything up to and including GTX 1050ti / RX 470The price to performance ratio of this CPU makes it an unmatched component.Note: In a completed build (excluding graphics card) this will take up about 55w.Along with a GTX 1050ti, you can build a full computer with only 350-400w power supply.Throw this into any build under £450.My own purpose for it is a Cryptocurrency mining rig which does not require any CPU power so a simple dual core does the trick.

Powerful budget CPU
I've built a system and incorporated this CPU into it. My thoughts initially were that I would replace it with an i3 or i5. That idea has been discarded to date as the CPU has proven itself to be so good running both media, video, photographic applications / software apart from all of the other usual computer apps such as word processing, spreadsheets, social media et to a point that I truly don't see any point in replacing it. The system actually shows performance wise that I am actually getting 3.3Ghz of power that is flawless. A similar i5 would have cost me at least £200 more! Well recommended.

Pretty good.
Intel Pentium Dual-Core G4400 3.3 GHz Processor CPUGood little CPU. It's fast. I can play 4k videos now and It's good enough for gaming. I paired this with RX 480 4gb and I get 60fps 1080p ultra on many games. However there is a severe bottlenecking while I played BF4 yet i get 122 fps. I imagine it would be the same to Battlefront or BF1. Still for the price, its brilliant. The CPU's temeperature at idle in my case can be as cool as 16 degrees celcius but usually 18 to 20 is where it's at.. While gaming the temeperature can reach up to 40 degrees celcius although mostly its usually in 30's degrees celcius and never above 50-60..

Super CPU! I7? I who?
Absolutely brilliant product and seller!Bought this for my first mining rig, it was on of the cheapest CPU's I could find and I wasn't too concerned about power at all as it wouldn't be required. My first CPU I received from the seller stopped working and was quickly replaced by the seller which was great service, it was all done so quickly!Once I installed and set up the computer I realised how smooth the whole process was, this got me thinking - how would it perform for gaming? So I installed one GPU and my steam account and got going - Flawless gaming experience.I then used it as a work system, using MS office and multiple chrome browsers etc.No problems at all!I would continue using this cpu for my mining rigs and also for my next gaming or work pc's!This CPU works to well to opt for an I7 for example which is more than 5 times the price!

Great cpu for the money id describe it as budget ...
Great cpu for the money id describe it as budget skylake. Fits my needs perfectly low tdp mid range clock speed dual core with two threads runs slightly behind my i5 4460 when booting programmes, but its pretty indistinguishable, so for a desktop build this is perfect. I use this cpu with a h110s2 mini stx board, 4gb 2133MHz DDR4 sodimm memory in a small 15x15x6.5cm case - micro pc build, so for this build this cpu met my needs since it's a fairly cheap dual core skylake processor with 2 threads, so best for the price range in my opinion. Integrated 510 graphics so far can handle 720p left 4 dead 2 and csgo at 720p, have heard it can run insurgency at 720p but havent tested it myself, so it can game moderately. Would recoomend for a great performing budget desktop for work, uni or as a second pc. I can recommend this for a cheap gaming rig if paired with a decent gpu, however games are slowly removing dual core cpu support, there are work arounds, but it wont be truely future proof.Very happy with this cpu would definitelty recommend.Pentium gets more hate then it should.

Combine it with a Solid State Drive, a Gigabyte Motherboard and as much RAM as you can!!
Don't use AMD much these days, as Intel have ruled the roost at every price point for a while. The arrival of AMD Ryzen may change this, but at the business \ home user end of the market the Pentium is a great chip.Combine it with a Solid State Drive, a Gigabyte Motherboard (such as H110M-S2H0 and as much RAM as you can afford and you can put together a great system. It's Intel Skylake architecture, so pair it up with a suitable Intel Socket 1151 motherboard. Don't use it with Socket 1150 or other boards (such as H81M - it won't work!!

A decent budget processor for every day use.
These are decent budget processors based on Intel Skylake architecture. These are pretty much the equivalent i3 processor without the hyper threading. Single and dual threaded programs/games run fine on these chips and paired with plenty of ram and Ssd drive will outperform a similar i3 with hdd. Team these up with a discrete PCIE graphic card if you want to play some games at 1080P.

Good for budget builds
This processor is good for budget builds but wouldn’t get this if you want to play fortnite or grand theft auto, if you have a bit more money try and get a quad core.
