can gloss paint be used in this spray gun

According to the manual (booklet) you can use gloss paint. However the clean up may be more difficult if you use an oil based paint. The good news is that you can get water based gloss. From the research I have done it seems that the water based gloss stays white longer and doesn't go yellow like the oil paints. I bought the paint sprayer for a fencing project, but I am so impressed with it I will be using it for other jobs. A gloss finish is required for one of my projects, so I'll be going with a water based gloss. The clean up time is about 15 - 20 minutes. It's a very well designed piece of kit. :)

Yes, but you will need to precisely mask EVERYTHING without missing a space where the spray paint can get into!!…..doors, skirting boards, window frames, plug sockets….EVERYTHING - which can take some good time to do. You will need to fully cover any carpet or flooring. Windows preferably need to be fully open. You’ll also need to wear a good protective face mask and goggles. Fine paint spray can (unnoticeably) get into airways and eyes. Ideal for painting a new, empty property, but prep time before you can spray is VERY time consuming. If you don’t wanna spray it…..you’ll have to CAREFULLY and precicesly mask it!!

what treatment can you use

The machine doesn't need any big treatment part of the oil in the nozzle and clean the filter with water once a month. Love this machine! Good luck!!!
