This is an excellent alternative for more expensive baby changing units sold separately if you already have a ikea Malm chest of drawers (we have the Ikea 80 cm width x 78 cm height 3 Malm, new is currently sold at £40 or use Shpock to get a second hand).The installation is pretty straightforward (8 confirmat screws and 4 dowels, along with the hex/allen key). I didn't receive the screws with first delivery but seller kindly resend the item so no problem at all.The quality of the item is good (not excellent though) but for this price, it's more than enough. You need to be careful to not to damage it i.e. by installing it on a smooth surface such as on a carpet, rug or on your bed. Or if you're unlucky, some parts may be slightly damaged during the journey to your home/flat but that was not a show stopper for me.For the assembly, I'd recommend using an electric screw driver (although not required as all in all it should take max. 10 minutes even for an inexperienced person). Also, screw the parts loosely at the beginning as you may need to unscrew a little bit to adjust their positions during the assembly: do not put maximum power on electric screw driver or screw too tightly otherwise you may damage the parts.Before the assembly, empty your chest of drawers (top part especially): you may need to move it a little bit as this kit will increase the chest of drawers' surface depth from 48 to 73 cm. If your baby is more than 73 cm, either your baby's feet will be slightly out of the unit or you need to put him/her horizontally (rather than vertically but this would be cumbersome as the right/left curved wooden piece will block you). There is no option to put your chest of drawer closer to the wall: there will be ~13 cm more surface on both front (top drawer opens but only from sides) and back (13 cm away from wall).Bear in mind that the kit comes with an optional (smaller in width) assembly part which can be useful i.e. if you need to open your top drawer easily. We (like other reviewers) opted in bigger one and top drawer can only be opened from sides (and you cannot see the full content easily).In summary, I'm happy with the purchase, time will tell the durability of it though (I may update the review in case if something goes wrong). I'd still recommend buying it. If you try and feel like it isn't not the right one, you can still contact the seller (excellent customer service and delivery) or Amazon (so open the box carefully and do not throw it away before finishing the installation!).

Nice and easy to put together, and great for the price. Put together in about 5 mins, no skill required. Quite like that you get two width options depending which way you want to change (front on or at 90degree angle).Only thing I’m not sure about is that it lips over the front too, makes me feel quite far away! Once we start using it though this extra room might be needed maybe.You need to take note it lips over the back so you need to bring your chest of drawers forward from the wall. Which we could see from the pics you need to do anyway, but something worth notin as yours drawers won’t sit flat to the wall anymore with this slotted on the top.Over all very happy!

This is probably the best thing we bought in the mass of baby crap we bought in the run up.It creates a baby changing table at the fraction of the cost (less than a ton when you throw in the malmo unit). The height is a real saver for the back, so go tall when buying the dresser - 6 drawer minimum.Gives a good working surface for changing the little un. Probably worth banging a few extra (slightly longer) screws in, as it gets the unit a bit more flush and solid.

Decent quality. Cost effective item allow you to convert your Malm draws to be able to have a baby changing unit on top. However the instructions are poor, difficult to read and make any sense of. So it took ages to make. Improve the instructions!

The media could not be loaded. Non, mais quel idée géniale ! Grâce à cet article, j’ai réussi à transformer ma commode IKEA (qu’on m’a offert) ou une table à langer super pratique. Le morceau s’adapte à la plupart des commode. Il faut juste bien prendre les tailles. Super simple à installer il suffit de le poser et de le visser. Il m’a fait faire énormément de économie.

Y más adelante poder quitar este cambiador y quedarse con la cómoda solo.Y si es cierto: no es el mismo acabado que la Malm pero al final que más da si cumple su función para unos meses

Also das ist meine erste Rezension überhaupt, die ich schreibe. Aber diesmal muss ich es einfach sagen. Das Produkt ist einwandfrei und super mega schön. Und es passt wie angegossen auf unsere Malm-Kommoden.Aufgrund der teils negativen Rezensionen habe ich sehr lange überlegt ob ich es kaufen soll oder nicht. Es gab noch weiter Angebote, aber die zum doppelten Preis oder sogar mehr. Hier ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis echt top. Und ich bin super glücklich, dass ich mich für Ploni Kids entschieden habe und mir diesen Wickelaufsatz bestellt habe.Ich konnte es einfach selbst zusammenbauen (im 8. Monat schwanger), die Anleitung war deutlich und einfach zu lesen. Man hat sogar zwei Möglichkeiten diese Auflage zusammenzubauen, einmal in der Variante wie auf dem Bild und einmal in einer schmäleren Variante. Beide Bretter für beide Varianten sind im Paket beinhaltet.Also kurz und bündig: ich empfehle es definitiv weiter. In Kombination mit der Malm-Kommode wirklich die beste Lösung für einen schönen Wickeltisch.
