Easy to use and simple to add or change sanding sheets. Makes it a lot easier to sand down walls when using filler etc. Definitely recommend, good build quality and a fair price.

There is always something to sand, fix, smooth or repair in my house. I was sick of using paper hand held and forever wrapping sand paper around all sorts of inanimate objects to save my knuckles so picked one of these up. The Good * The plastic block feels robust, I've used it on a couple of small jobs and have had no issues thus far with build quality. * It's simple. Very simple to operate so to speak, you undo the wing nut, separate the two pieces of plastic, wrap your paper around the block then reattach the top and screw the wing nut back on. * It comes with a piece of sandpaper which is a bonus but that won't last you long. * Using the block is so much easier than freehand, it allows you to exert pressure without fear of skinning your fingers to the bone and focus on the job at hand. The could be better * The wing nut is a pain sometimes because of the deep recess it's in, if you've skinny fingers youll be fine, if you've fat sausage like fingers such as my own, it can be a jam. * Whilst the block is OK to hold a little bit of rubber around the top block would make it so much more comfortable, after a while sanding you can feel a good degree of hand fatigue. Overall I would recommend this little block, as said I have tried various other options, and even had a couple of actual blocks that wrapped around but with out a securing nut. It's much better than just using sand paper with nothing and a good bit better than the other blocks I have tried. It isn't perfect for the price, durability and simplicity it is very good value. Four Stars.

Easy to use value for money and the size of of it makes using it easy like the old fashioned cork blocks

Excellent little sanding block. It comes with sandpaper already fitted. A wing nut secures a plate which enables the sandpaper in place, avoiding the need to grip the sides of a cork sanding block to keep the sandpaper in place and enabling all of the effort into sanding. A sanding block is essential if you want to fill a flat surface and produce a good finish.

Very handy item, easy to hold

One of the best of this type. The cork style also work well, but you have to hold the sand paper in place, while this one dies that for you and is therefore easier to move about and use, in my view

I used it to clear the sharp edges of the furniture I purchased from Home Center, worked well.

Small, 2 different edge angles on the sides. Can be a bit annoying to put paper in clamped while stretched.
