Great product - will definitely be buying it again
I'm not in any way a professional valeter nor someone who takes pride in maintaining their car as best as they can. I'd simply bought a new car and wanted to protect my investment, and whilst on the car owner's forum this product came up a few times as being excellent so I bought it to protect the paintwork. It's a bit more expensive but after using it well worth it in my opinion.I've only had opportunity to use this once on one of my cars (white SUV) but I really like it. I used 2 micro-fibre cloths, one that was damp (as advised) to apply the wax and the other dry to polish with. In the past I have used a liquid wax and I found this solid type wax much easier to use. The instructions on the tin advise to apply to a section at a time and leave for a few minutes before buffing to a shine - so I basically applied to two sections at first, then polished the first section, applied wax to a third section, polished the second and so on. It didn't take long at all to apply and did not feel onerous either. The product leaves a great shine to the car that is very long lasting - and it is good to know you have protected your paintwork with a quality product. I intend to use the wax 2 or 3 times a year (e.g. before and after winter). The ability of this wax at preventing dirt sticking to your car is amazing. When I say that I don't mean that your car won't look dirty - it will just like any other car - but the difference is when you go to clean it again. After using the wax I didn't wash the car again for 3 months, and I then needed to wash it in a hurry so I filled a bucket with shampoo and washed the car straight away with a sponge, didn't even hose it down first. The accumulated dirt just came straight off, it was brilliant! I'd thankfully applied the wax to the alloys as well, and so they cleaned right up too.One thing I will say is that I also decided to buy a clay bar to use when washing the car (all of this was much to my wife's amusement, plenty of eye rolling going on..). This is a product I had not even heard of really before buying this car but I can say that I don't regret buying that at all! Once you've washed the car normally use a clay bar and it'll almost effortlessly remove all those tiny black specks you can only see up close and that don't seem to come off with regular car shampoo and elbow grease - it's amazing! The reason I bring that up here is that by doing that you will leave a much cleaner and smoother surface on which to apply the wax - thereby giving even greater protection.

Super-wax
I'd read numerous reviews on here and (primarily) car forums, and eventually bought some of this to see what the fuss was about.I live in Thailand where the sun beats down on my bright, flat red paintwork all day (always above 35 degrees, often reaching 40), with (currently) sporadic, heavy rainfall and very dusty roads (which are generally poorly maintained), so I wanted a strong wax to help prolong the new paintwork look as long as possible and after a bit of research, went for this.Application isn't too bad with a bit of elbow grease, though I guess an electric buffer would make life a lot easier. Obviously you don't want to be applying it in direct sunlight (it gets hard very quickly and can be very tough to buff off by hand), but generally it's not that bad or difficult on a medium sized car.The finish is great. I can't speak for the depth of paintwork or whatever as I'm no professional detailer, but it looks great after a good polish and a few coats of this stuff. It seems to be lasting forever, also. Except, however, on the bonnet. Sitting in traffic here the thermometer occasionally reaches above 45 degrees and in direct sunlight the bonnet can get extremely hot, so I would guess that this is part of the reason why the bonnet needs to be re-waxed every 4-6 weeks or so; I don't know. The roof (obviously also in direct sunlight) stays beading up for 3 months after application, which is what made me think that the heat has something to do with it.The rest of the car is the same, 3 months of use at leastIt's not cheap, that's true, but it's not the most expensive either, especially for the amount of product you get (this tin will last me 2 more years at least; probably 3 in fact). Delivery was fast (although the tin was damaged by the Thai postal service on the last leg of the journey). All in all, I would give this product 4.5 out of 5 (because perfection is almost impossible). Previously I have used Dodo juice Orange Crush and one coat of that and a top coat of this seems to work really well. If the tin was smaller, I would certainly buy this stuff again. Highly recommended.

Excellent product
A very, very good wax. Goes on easily and after 3 mins it's ready to buff. Slightly easier to apply than my previous favourite bilt Hamber double speed wax. Cannot comment yet on durability but beading is excellent and at least as good as the bilt hamber. Worth the slight extra outlay due to its ease of use, tin will last an average sized vehicle 2 to 3 years I'd imagine. Excellent quality product, highly recommended.

Good stuff
Seems to be as good as the AutoGlym high definition wax that I also use. Easily applied with a dampened sponge applicator (the Meguiars ones fit the tin perfectly). I think some other reviewer said not to leave it on too long. I made this mistake initially and if it gets too dry in sunshine then it's really hard work to remove it. Good deep, lustrous shine. Recommend using a light cutting agent (e.g. Meguiars Ultimate Polish) before application.

One of the best car waxes
Easy to apply and buff off lasts a long time and is very economical. I apply this wax to my Lexus LC500 every 3 months and the paintwork on my car is always immaculate.

Great with 1 major fault
This wax is highly durable and is great for protection and looks, especially for the money. However a big problem with this is that it's so so hard to buff off. I looked past this when purchasing, and it's so much effort to do all of your car t once. I had to take loads of breaks! Wouldn't buy again due to this, which is a shame because it is great apart from this!
