Arrived in nice condition (some users reported rusted clips, mines were in completely new condition), I use it for an Artina desk easel. They work fine.

The clips were well made and do the job just as I wanted. They are for drawing boards so remember that the thickness of a drawing board is not that great and I don't suppose the clips would work on anything much thicker. The clips certainly make changing drawings or paintings on canvas board a whole lot easier and if used sensibly don't get in the way.

These clips are ideal for securing your paper to a drawing board. I have used similar clips since the 1970s and bought these to go with a drawing board for my granddaughter. Over the years, the quality has deteriorated and the silky smooth edges of the old product are not to be found on the latest ones. Not that the edges are sharp or anything but the clips just lack the professional precision that the product used to have. Nevertheless, a functional and useful product at a very reasonable price.

This product has done exactly what I needed it to! It held my drawing paper to my board without any movement. My only issue is that I was forced to buy 3 packs. I only needed the 1 pack of 4 clips but upon checking out it said that I MUST purchase at least 3 packs in order to continue with purchasing. I now have 12 of these clips when 2 were only needed.... so apart from that detail and extra complete waste of money, these were great!

Got these clips to hold paper on my new Helix Ultra-Lite core plain edge drawing board. Using the board on an easel for drawing. Holds heavy drawing paper and a reference photo perfectly. Very pleased.

I use these on the very outer top and bottom edge of a wirebound watercolor sketch book to keep the paper flat when it's wet. They work perfectly for that. They are light weight, which is nice for a sketch book.

Not using them on a drawing board but would say they'd work great for the purpose. I am actually using them to hold a planner open and they work great for that purpose too.
