Top class sealant
I read the reviews on this. It seems that some people cant mix it because the two "bars" inside the pack which need to be blended together are too stiff to mix. Here is the answer. Put the two components (still in their plastic pouches) in your pocket for about 15 mins before you attempt the job. Use this time to prepare the surface of the repair. After 15 mins don a pair of latex gloves, remove the two packs from your pocket - they will now be VERY pliable. Open the plastic packets, twist the two bars together (or at least as much as you will need to do the repair). Very easy to twist and then to mix in your hands - but make sure you keep it warm. Although I was fixing an external pond (cracked concrete) I mixed the product in my hands for about 5 mins ( remember to use the gloves) in a warm place, and it was dead easy to apply to the crack. I even dropped the ball of putty into the pond but retrieved it with no adverse effects to the stickiness. This product is excellent and does an excellent job. The instructions, however, are'nt as good as the ones I have just given here!

Just fix it pond repair kit
had a small leak in our garden pond and purchased this rather than drain and replace the lining. It was easy to use and did the job well, my only critism is the colour, being yellow it showed up quite a bit, however, placed a small rock over it and a job was well done, would recommend

1st Rate Solution
I don't normally post reviews but knowing how frustrating a leaky pond is and having taken a chance with this product I thought I would share my very positive experience. Firstly our leak was at the bottom of a waterfall and we needed something that would seal stone and potentially part of the pond liner, something this product claimed to do. The second issue was that we would be working in quite a confined space and previous review comments about having difficulty mixing the product to make it pliable were a bit worrying. However, we drained the water to just below the problem area, left the two "candle-like" sticks in the sun to warm up for about 10 minutes and then mixed the two sticks together with absolutely no problem at all. The resulting ball had a plasticine like texture and proved very easy to fill into the gaps that we were fixing. We actually left it 24 hours before filling up the water even though it says you don't need to. Hey presto, water level has held (14 days now) and absolutely delighted with the product. We were looking at a 2ft lip at the bottom of the waterfall and did require 2 packs of the product but still very good value and a first rate solution. Other reviewers are correct in that the colour (bright yellow) isn't great but fortunately the location of our repair meant this was out of sight and not an issue...a dark coloured version would be a great addition to the product though.

The Ideal Solution !
I have a pre-formed pond which developed a slow leak. After removing the fish and draining the pond I eventually discovered several small areas of damage caused by some large limestone rocks that had accidently fallen into the pond. This repair kit proved to be the ideal solution for fixing these leaks. It was necessary to mix the two parts very well together ensuring a perfect blend; and a tiny drop of water made the mixing a little easier. After mixing together, the cream was applied to the damaged areas and spread out with a spatula to a perfectly smooth finish. The whole proceedure was easy, simple and best of all very effective (and relatively cheap).I only needed to use a tiny amount of the substance so there is plenty left over.I certainly recommend this as a perfect repair for "chips" or "cracks".

Didn't work
The putty is quite hard to blend together but once mixed it stuck to the hole well. Not sure if the product didn't work or if there is another leak in our pond that we cannot find but our water level is still low.

Does a good job
I had a crack in the concrete stream that feeds into my pond letting water leak out. I cleaned the area around it with a wire brush on an electric drill then mixed and pushed this filler into the gap. It sets hard and rather bright yellow in colour so is noticeable. Once dry I brushed on a layer of G4 pond sealer on top and dusted some sand on top of that while wet which has hidden the colour well. The repair is effective and has stopped the leak. You don't get a large amount in the pack ( roughly a small toothpaste tube size) so you may need more depending on what you are repairing.

Works as it claims, shame about the colour
I used this to fix leaks in a small concrete 'river' channel between two garden ponds. It has filled the holes and seems well stuck on. It seems odd that a product sold to repair ponds is yellow in colour, because the repair is always going to be visible.

Warm it before you work it - with thanks to another poster for that tip.
This worked, and it's all thanks to R. Whitehouse. The yellow tube was quite soft but the dark one was so stiff I couldn't even dent it, however I dropped it into a bag and floated it in some hot water and 10 minutes later I was able to mix it. Now I have stiff hands but my mini pond (ceramic sink) is repaired. Thank you R. Whitehouse.
