Been out on the water with them on a Sevylor Hudson Kayak this weekend and found the paddles to be great.They break down into 2 pieces which fit our car (Volvo V70) both width and length wise and at 1.3 meters are just about long enough to be used easily by my self 5ft 8inches although my son at 135cm struggled a little to get them deep enough into the water. (The taller yo are the easier it is to get them over the top of the outer tubes of the Kayak which you are sat quite low down in with the inflatable ones).They two parts click into one of 3 positions easily and hold very firm once assembled.We did find they bring a little water into the Kayak but after improving our technique, found this to be minimal (the water "cups" really do work).I feel the quality of these paddles to be extremely good (both shaft and plastic paddle) and would recommend.

These are great quality paddles, You will get wetter if you use them upside down, and you will get a bit wet anyway, but it gets better with practise and using them the right way up. These are the cheapest best quality double paddles I could find and I'm very happy with them. So much so that I'm just about to order another pair for my partner!

These are handy in that they appear well built and being in 2 parts will facilitate easy packing into a car boot. Quick and easy to assemble and relatively light weight. They have an adjustable black flexible plastic band which sits on the shaft and is designed to help reduce water from running back down (as you lift the paddle from the water). However, this was not very effective and my son and I got soaked thighs which is very annoying! It may be that we are not accomplished kayakists but we swapped with friends who had a one piece paddle (not Sevylor) and we stayed much drier.

I use this with my paddleboard + a seat. It works a treat. It i very tight - that's good! - and a little oil or waxy chain lube (which I use) makes it easy to fit together.As for the drip-catchers - aren't people moany?! They are cup-shaped rings and work very well in my opinion. You're in the water, you're going to get a little wet!For this money, it's impossible to complain. 5* easily!

Good quality paddles with several settings to configure the blade angles to suit your paddling style. Worth mentioning that the paddles come apart easily for easy transport. Water cups to prevent water running back are generally effective and the paddles are nice and strong. No problems at all with this product.

The paddle seemed ok until tried to take it apart and connector button siezed up and snapped off. not sure I will replace with same item.

Quite sturdy but very difficult to get the oats apart.

This paddle is in 2 parts which makes it very easy to pack inside your car, van etc and clips together well when in use. When clipping together you can have them oposite each other or offset. Only used once, my experience is that I would prefer it to be longer and my husband has longer arms than me and would prefer it to be shorter (used with the Sevylor Colorado Premium 2 man). I find it does drip down your arms and my husband found it did not, so I think it must depend on the use. Overall for the price, this is a very good.

Son ligeros y el material parece bueno. Rígidas las palas y por supuesto, flotan si se caen al agua. Tiene un pequeño protector para evitar que el agua se deslice hasta tu mano mientras remas que hace su función.La pega que le pongo es que a la hora de desmontar es difícil apretar el botón que permite separar las dos mitades y además hay que introducirlas muy rectas para poder ensamblarlas. Aunque supongo que ambos sistemas permiten que, una vez montadas ,sean lo suficientemente rígidas como para poder palear sin holguras.Estaría genial que para próximos diseños incluyan un sistema para evitar el choque de palas con tu compañero de kayak y disimular nuestra torpeza y falta de coordinación cuando pasas cerca de esos canoístas profesionales que parecen torpedos surcando las aguas.

Très belle finition, solide et douce au toucher.La pagaie se scinde en deux moitiés (très important pour le transport), et vraiment rigide une fois clipsée.Très bonne dimension (230 cm) pour les randonnées relaxes (pour les tailles de 1m80 environ).Nota : plus la pagaie est courte, plus elle est sportive et plus elle demande plus d'effort.

Nach einem ausgiebigen Vergleich von anderen Artikeln sowie der jeweiligen Kundenrezensionen habe ich mich für den Kauf dieses guten Alu-Doppelpaddels von Sevylor entschieden. Das Paddel ist sehr leicht und liegt unglaublich gut in den Händen. Dafür sorgt auch die leichte Verdickung des Aluminiumrohrs für die Gebrauchshand und die Gummierung im Haltebereich. Die 3-fach-Arretierung sorgt für die Asymmetrie d.h. die Paddel treten immeSevylor Alu-Doppelpaddel, 2-teilig, 230 x 18 cmSevylor Alu-Doppelpaddel, 2-teilig, 230 x 18 cmr mit dem passenden Winkel auf die Wasseroberfläche auf, ohne dass der Winkel von Hand korrigiert werden muss. Eine Spanbildung beim ersten Zusammenstecken der zweiteiligen Paddel konnte ich nicht feststellen. Die beiden Paddelteile lassen sich ohne Probleme ineinanderstecken, arretieren sicher und stecken auch ohne Spiel fest ineinander. Dies ist genau das Paddel nach dem ich (Anfänger im Kajak) gesucht habe. Ich habe die Paddel in einem Kanal mit leichter Strömung, zum Vortrieb eines ca.4,70 m langen Kajaks getestet. Die Paddel bringen ordentlich Vorschub und machen wegen dem geringen Gewicht und der einstellbaren Asymmetrie richtig Spaß. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist der Spritzschutz, der nicht verhindert, dass etwas Wasser in das Boot „reingepaddelt“ wird. Dies muss aber nicht am Paddel, sondern kann auch an meiner Anfänger-Paddeltechnik liegen. Personen mit einer Körpergröße von über 1,90 m sollten nach einem längeren Paddel Ausschau halten, mir ist dieses ca. 20 cm zu kurz. Als korrektes Längenmaß soll, wie mir ein Profi erzählte, der Abstand zwischen dem ausgestreckten Arm mit 90 Grad abgewinkelter Hand und dem Boden gemessen werden. Ich werde dieses Paddel deshalb zukünftig meinen kleineren Familienmitgliedern überlassen und für mich nach einer längeren Ausführung dieses Paddels suchen.
