I have been looking for a recipe book or binder for a. long. time. and I am SO glad I ordered this recipe book (in the Navy Blue colour)! It makes it super easy to write recipes down and doesn't have too many complicated and detailed fields. AND it's so pretty and compact! :)One of my favourite features is also the "Contents" spread at the beginning of the book to help you find recipes faster by page numbers!I'll be ordering another colour for all of my sweet recipes, and the Ruby Red one for all Christmas recipes.Highly recommend to anyone who don't want to keep searching for their recipes all over the place, but rather organise and save them in an efficient way! :)

I got this as a gift where our family wrote various sentimental recipes. It was a lovely little book, study and the colour was really nice. I wish there were more pages in, but it had enough lines to write a decent recipe along with space to write ingredients, how long it takes etc. It's perfect if you want to write your own recipes down. It's A5 size, so not huge and you can easily carry it around with you if you needed. I would definitely buy again.

I like the fields to be customised its a pretty basic recipe book to write your own recipes but it does the job

For any enthusiastic cooks, this will be an invaluable piece of kit. It’s so much better designed than most similar books for keeping handwritten recipes, and really nicely presented with great attention to detail. It is hardbound A5 size and comes in a choice of colours (I went for the dark green) with a textured fabric cover embossed in gold with “from my kitchen RECIPE BOOK” (capitalisation as on item). The pages are nice quality paper, heavy enough to avoid bleed from normal pens, with ditsy patterned end papers and a two page spread for each recipe. It begins with a table of contents to be filled in by the creator - no slavishly organising recipes into categories before transcribing - and each page is numbered throughout so this is an incredibly useful feature. It then goes on to a few pages of conversion charts - not just weights and temperatures but also things like halving ingredients for a recipe and even substitutions for common ingredients. For each recipe, the lefthand page has fields for title, whether it is a starter, main, side/snack or sweet, how many it serves, prep time, cook time, cooking temperature, whether it is veggie, dairy-free, gluten-free, or nut free, all down the lefthand margin of the page, with the bulk of the page being devoted to lines for ingredients and a small box at the bottom for tips and tricks. The righthand page is purely for method and entirely ruled, so gives a generous amount of space to record all your most precious recipes. I’m very impressed by how well thought out this is. It would be very much appreciated blank as a gift for any cook, or even better to fill it with your own recipes and gift it - perhaps as a housewarming gift, to an adult child setting up their first home, a family member who cherishes the same heirloom recipes you remember from childhood, a friend with special dietary needs, etc. Given in this way, it's difficult to imagine a more thoughtful gift.
