Well-made product
As others have noted this is a great product. Well-made, easy to transport (if needed), and does a great job at doing what it was made for. Great to cook with and clean up. I set up this up on an Expedition 3x grill. New grill and bbq straight out of the box and was up and running in less than 15 mins and that was only because i stopped to read the instructions. Note: even though the box says this grill is made for the 14 inch grills, I used this on my 16 inch grill with no problems. I chose this one burner model over the 2 burner model because I use burners more than i use the bbq and wanted the other burners freed up for other cooking. Works great, highly recommend.

Easy cleaning/Cooks well
This grill box heats evenly and suppresses fire flare up by its design. It is built well, has a thick grating for grilling and a good temperature gauge. We cook on it for two and for twenty with no issues. What we liked most about this box is that it is very easy to clean. We heat it up to 650 degrees for a few minutes after cooking and everything is reduced to ash. Wipe it down and we’re done. This grill box is a good choice for those who like to grill but don’t like to do a like of cleaning afterwards. Was a great buy for the price.

It functions well.
It's not as heavy duty as some other products, but that allows it to be of reasonable weight. See my long review for the Camp Chef Explorer EX-60LW camp stove.Update: While another reviewer said it was good for cooking for one or two people, I used this in a perhaps unusual way when entertaining about 40 people. This worked well for me: I bought a bunch of hamburger which we rolled into 90 large meatball size portions and flattened them to make small "slider" burgers. We bought large bags of fresh dinner rolls that we sliced which were the right size and fresher than normal buns. About twenty minutes before people were to arrive I started cooking the small burgers a dozen at a time on my griddle on one burner on my stove. While those were starting, I lit the second burner on low and placed the oven there with the temp rising to about 150 degrees. By the time people arrived I had a dozen burgers ready in the warming oven and another dozen making nice grilling sounds as people came to get one. This allowed me to be ready for surges in the demand for the popular small burgers. It worked really well! Two people said the burgers were perfectly cooked medium well (not overcooked by remaining on the griddle)... I confess I claimed chef credit rather than giving credit to the equipment.Have a roll of paper towels handy to wipe up spatters or extra grease and if using the griddle set the stove at a slight angle so grease runs into the small catch area of the griddle.A couple reviewers said there is a modest center hot spot problem with the oven when used for grilling. I use a diffuser plate under it and have not noticed any problem when using it to grill kabobs on skewers. It seemed to work really well for that application. One other review mentioned that the oven works with the windscreen, but that's not totally correct. In my mini burger example I was frequently opening and closing the oven which the wind screen, if used, would have prevented (the back of the lid would hit the windscreen). The wind screen could be used while baking etc., but would have to be lifted off when opening the oven.

Another very good Camp Chef accessory.
We own a Camp Chef two-burner Explorer stove and this grill box fits perfectly over one of the burners. This is totally understandable but it presents a problem, particularly if you pretty much fill up the box with food, say, a bunch of chicken thighs. Heat control on the very large burners is quite tricky, and even though the bottom of the grill box has a diffuser plate beneath the cooking grate, there are invariably hot spots. You've got to (almost) constantly be moving food around to keep it from burning and/or flaring up in charring flames. That said, grilling two to four not-too-fatty steaks works great. In either case, the clean up is not a cinch unless you do it pretty much right away (well, when things cool down enough not to burn you, anyway) especially if you have many drippings during the grilling process. Letting things go through several cooking sessions without a good scraping and scrubbing allows the gunk to get really baked on. And, the fact that the heat diffuser isn't removable (that we can tell) doesn't help when the little bits and pieces get into all the corners.Still, it's an absolutely indispensable accessory for the fourteen-inch stoves and I wouldn't camp without it. In fact, we have two of these grill boxes plus a couple flat griddles. Camp Chef really makes most of the best camp cooking products out there.
