RouxTween-Time Crayon Dark Brown

I love it. You wet the end - I just put it under the tap - and then apply it to your roots. It covers grey really well and I can't feel any difference to my hair. I don't notice that I have it on and I don't get anything on my pillow or anything like that. Now I can easily go an extra week before dying my roots. If I haven't been able to get the hairdresser, this is a lifesaver! I find that it works best if my hair is in a pony tail as there is only one parting to 'colour in'. I will definitely buy this again.

I have been using Roux Tween-Time crayon for the past few years and it is a great product, I used to dye my hair every 3 weeks due to premature grey hair but after buying this touch up stick I can actually go through 7 weeks until I dye my hair again! It is so simple to use, I run the stick under the tap to moisten it before rubbing it over the grey hair and it lasts until I shampoo out. Thank you for a great product!

I use this product by rubbing wet fingers onto the stick, then gentlyapplying the colour to my hair - aiming for a paste-like wet consistency.Otherwise I think there's a danger of breaking or weakening fine hairs, as along the temples - so I would not rub the stick itself onto my hair. I'm very careful not to brush or comb hard when the colour dries - for the same reason - the stuff is a bit heavy and might make the hair drag or break in the brush or comb. Applying it my way is messy, but the colour does wash off one's hands and washbasin etc with soap and water. Results this way are quite good - I've been pleased with the coverage.

Over the last few years i've really struggled to keep grey roots at bay even though I go to the hairdressers at least every 5 weeks to have the colour done. Within 9 days the grey begins to show through. A few years ago I discovered hair mascara which did a pretty good job but then the manufacturer 'improved' the product and instead of a good brown colour I was now getting a nice bright orange stain which acted as a beacon and totally drew attention to my roots!!! Last year I discovered this product - Roux Tween-Time Crayon in dark brown and have used this since. However... the first one I bought, as I got to within the last 2'' of it it just went all gloopy from where you have to dampen it to apply it. It ended up snapping off and was completely wasted. I've found that the product is certainly better than nothing (after all i've struggled to find anything else out there to even try), but the product does leave you with gunky, thick feeling roots and i've been left with stains on my pillowcases from where it's rubbed off in the night. Four weeks ago I moved from England to Northern Ireland and now my lovely hairdresser niece cuts and colours my hair. When she first heard of my trouble with grey roots she immediately suggested a product that she said works an absolute treat - Label.M Brunette Dry Shampoo (200ml. She brought a tester round for me to try and I have to say I was very sceptical. However it is absolutely BRILLIANT and I would not be without it now! It really feels like a miracle product to me which is why im doing this review - I just wish someone had told me about this product before now. It comes in a can, you just give it a shake and then just spray along your roots (in my case my parting), leave for a minute before combing through - and that really is it! It stains the hair BUT unlike anything else i've ever tried, it leaves your hair feeling lovely and silky - no gloop whatsoever. It's not permanent so when you next wash your hair it'll come out, but just wash and dry your hair as usual then apply the product again and off you go! I've now ordered two cans online at £8.40 each (free delivery). If you have medium to dark hair then do try it, it really is an excellent product.

Used this for years it was fabulous. and needed a new one. The new formula is just terrible. No water needed is put like a good thing in the description, when reality is it’s ruined the product. it now comes off on everything and is sticky. Before you just put on, having wet the stick, it dried and stayed put until a shampoo. Am now searching for a replacement product, so disappointed, please bring the old formula back!, it was great,

I dye my hair at home and was having to do it every 2 weeks as that hideous white 'skunk' line would appear along the parting all too quickly! In desperation I looked on line to see if there was anything out there to 'cover up'!Having read the reviews I was a bit sceptical due to the lady whose dye didn't take after using Tween Time but bought one anyway.After wetting the crayon slightly it goes on really easily and looks very natural. The colour blends in perfectly. Rinses out easily and, thank god, I don't have any problems with my own dye 'taking'.So. All in all, a wonderful product in my opinion.Have just ordered 2 more!!!

This is a really useful addition to my bathroom cabinet. Keeps my hair looking good for longer and extends the time between professional touch-ups by at least two weeks. I bought the Dark Brown which is good for me but it is really dark. The product looks as though it will last for ages.
