[2 DOME +1 CAM PACKAGE] Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel 7 PRO (2022), Full Tempered Glass Shield with Liquid Dispersion Tech [Easy to Install Kit] - 2pack

Starting off with this, the package is big. A lot bigger than you see with most screen protectors. It comes with the following items in the box: - 2x Glass screen protectors - 1x back camera flexible protector - 1x UV light - 1x Installation Jig + accesories - 3x Glue Recipients - 1x cleaning kit (wet wipes, 2x high quality microfibre cloths, dust stickers etc) It seems a bit daunting at first, but scanning the QR code on the box led me to the instructions page. From there I just followed the links to the YouTube video specific for my model. It was only a 3 min video, and I've watched it a few times to make sure I know the process without having my eyes glued to the screen. Turned off my device and only occasionally skimmed through the video to make sure I get the steps right. Flawless installation from the first try. It wasn't that hard. However, I did take additional precautions to make sure I install it as best as I can. I would say if you follow these tips you'll have a spotless installation as well: 1. Level surface - this will help you once you put the glue on the phone. Find the best stable and level surface in your house. I used the Compass app on my phone (which has a spirit level option) to make sure my desk is flat enough. 2. Close doors, windows, fans and any sources of drafts in the room you're working. This will help with any specs of dust and lint floating in the air. Give the room a few minutes to settle. If you have a humidifier it might help to have it on for a half an hour to make the air less dusty. Or you can do this in the bathroom with a hot tap or shower open for humidity. 3. Wear latex/nitrile gloves to avoid knocking off dead skin, hair and dust from your skin. Also wear a had or shower cap to not have any dandruff from your head falling into your space. Don't do any sudden or fast movements whilst installing the thing. Breath lightly and wear a mask if necessary (if you're coughing or are a heavy breather). 4. Have a light shining on the side of your phone to spot any stray lint or dust after cleaning the screen. On top of these tips and what's in the box I suggest getting a plastic tool to help with getting the speaker protector on. This was the only step that provided enough frustration and required me to try a few times to get it right. I might have gone a bit over the top with preparation, but I'm very happy with the install. Now some positives and negatives about the protector: PROS + Smooth and very high quality surface + Sensitivity seems even higher than without the protector on. I could unlock the phone with my nitrile gloves on - not sure what that says about security though + Cristal clear and doesn't look like there's additional glass on + Fits with my Spigen case with ~1.5mm clearance around the edges + With the install kit it's almost impossible not to have it well aligned + Cutout for the camera - I do not like protectors that cover up the camera as they usually affect the picture quality + Clear instructions CONST: - Price, obviously. This protector kit is expensive. I didn't jump on buying it right away. Whilst I followed the price it went from £34.99 to £47.99 then dropped to £29.99. In addition to that, I got a £10 voucher for it during the Black Friday week so it made it more bearable (£19.99). Still double the price of typical screen protectors, but well worth it. - It covers less of the screen than my previous cheaper protector (~0.5mm around the edges less). This means less protection and catches easier on edge swipes. Would have liked this to cover just a bit more around the edges. - No instructions for the actual UV light. It's actually one press for 15" and two fast presses for 60" (from off). All in all I'm very happy with the quality and feel so far. We'll see how long it lasts. Especially the oleophobic coating which is the first to go. P.S. This screen protector has tiny stand-offs on every edge. These will not be visible after installation.

Let start from the beginning. After researching many screen protectors, checking reviews and watching installation videos, I decided the whitestone was the one for me. I have a brand new phone and wanted it protected straight out the box. Set up time. Upon opening the box, I started to gather everything I would need for my first install. Everything was there for the two installs included in this set. The one thing I did notice is that they only supply one dust sticker sheet so I will have to find my own for a second install. Preparation is key. Finding a relatively dust free area for the application, where you have plenty of light, a level surface and room for set up. Watch plenty set up videos before you attempt the install, ensure to take your time during the install so the screen is completely dust free, checking and removing any more dust that appears along the way. My first install was a success with no bubbles or dust under the protector. The finger print sensor works amazingly well. Screen is still extremely sensitive and responsive. The screen protector is case friendly too so I now feel my new phone is as protected as possible. 4 out of 5 stars because... Only one dust sticker sheet supplied. The selfie camera hole is every so slightly off centre. And lastly, the camera bar protector that comes in this set needs some attention. There is no instructions, it's not easy to figure out the installation and because of this, I made an absolute hash out of the install. A second in the pack or installation guidance would have greatly improved this. All in all, very happy with the screen protector. I will be looking to replace the camera bar protector.

Not worth the time, effort, or extra cost to install this screen protector. I bought and installed this in October 2022. Yesterday I dropped my phone from waist height and despite the screen protector installed perfectly, my phone screen still got damaged. See pictures. I am obviously disappointed. I spent the extra money on the trust that this would protect the screen, and now I am left with a cracked screen protector, a cracked screen and a horizontal bright line across the screen which will cost me £200+ to repair. The quality of the protector is good, i.e. it did not feel like I had a screen protector on, but as you can see, it failed to do the one job it was supposed to do which was - protect the screen.

Follow a youtube guide and you'll be fine. Prepare, go slowly, take your time. Keep checking at every stage for dust, hair, etc, before you put the glue and protector on. Check and check again! Once on, it feels just like the glass screen. And I didn't need to redo my fingerprints, they still work perfectly. The camera protector is a load of rubbish though. It only protects the shiny metal, not the lenses. And it started peeling back off the moment I installed it.

Installation is a bit complicated but the video instructions are very detailed, just take your time. Even though it's pricey it's definitely worth it; no issues with touch or fingerprint reader post installation unlike with other screen protectors I've tried. It's also compatible with my dbrand grip case with lots of headroom to spare, probably making it compatible with any case. Overall, probably the best screen protector you can get for the pixel 7 series.

First off, I like the screen protector: it works well, looks good, and combined with my case I'm not aware of it being on the screen at all. However - and it's a big however - the installation process was a nightmare. I watched the youtube video a few times to familiarise myself with the process, then went through it step by step during installation, following the instructions exactly. My first problem was that the first supplied speaker protector wouldn't fit over the mount, and required a lot of fiddling with tweezers and a plastic tool to finally fit down. By far the biggest issue, though, was when I actually went to apply the first screen protector. Either there simply wasn't enough glue in the tube to cover the whole screen, or it needed some help spreading to the corners - which very much wasn't in the instructions - and so after leaving it the specified 100 seconds, I wasn't able to coax enough glue to one corner to make a proper seal. Most screen protectors come in packs of 2, I've always assumed because you're bound to mess up the first try. Well, whitestone dome does this too, but recovering from a failed application is a nightmare. You have slowly setting glue covering the screen of your phone, and no instructions as to how to remove it, which was a really stressful situation to be in with an expensive new phone. Eventually I resorted to cold water and cotton cloths, which took between 5 and 10 minutes to get all the glue residue off. Then of course I had to go through the entire process again, using the second set of kit in the box. Unfortunately I had the issue that the supplied dust remover was polluted from my first try (there's only one, though you get three wipes and three microfiber cloths), so I had to improvise to remove the dust. To Whitestone's credit, three tubes of glue are supplied, so for my second try I used the whole of one tube and roughly half the second. Then rather than waiting for the glue to spread by itself as instructed, I gave it 10-20 seconds and then started tilting the phone to direct the glue to the ends and corners. Following this I did end up with a beautifully clean application. Overall, the process would have been a lot easier if there was just a little more glue in the first tube.

The installation process is easy, but it's super important to follow all the steps carefully. The kit includes everything you need, and the instructions are straightforward. I took my time and ended up with a flawless, bubble-free application thanks to the liquid dispersion technology. I'm using it with a Poetic Guardian case, and it fits perfectly with no issues at all. Also love that the pack comes with two protectors and a camera lens protector, which adds great value. No interference with the fingerprint sensor, no lifting around the edges – just a clean, professional result. Highly recommend if you want real full-screen protection for your Pixel 7 Pro!

Simple process to follow for the install. Plenty of YouTube videos installing these. Fites perfectly. No need to re-add fingerprints and no issues with sensetivity. Many glass screen protectors for the pixel 7 pro leave an obvious mark/patch around the fingerprint sensor however this does not. It is very difficult to tell there is even a screen protector on with the phone case. Having 2 is always handy aswell. Be sure to watch a couple of installing videos to make sure you are doing it correctly. The camera lense protector is a nice bonus too but you only get one of them so have to get it right first time. I do find the product a little expensive but for what you get it makes sense with the UV light etc. And you are paying for a premium product to match the phone. Rather than buying lots of cheaper screen protectors which won't work aswell or take many attempts at installing. Very happy with the product would 100% reccomend to pixel 7 and pixel 7 pro users. It's the best you are going to get for these models in particular.
