Vetericyn Eye Wash - 89ml

My dog is a schnauzer and often has gunk in corners of eyes. She had conjunctivitis a while ago so eyes were worse. I bought one bottle of Vetericyn eye wash. I found it very good for cleaning eyes. She doesn’t seem to mind it. Bought bundle of 2 for £20.98 last Feb. I have just finished the original bottle. Now can’t open either of the 2 I bought in Feb. Cannot unscrew caps even using things I have in kitchen to open really stubborn caps of varying sizes. Now struggling to find help online. Had to give 1star. Would give more but it’s no use if it won’t open.

I purchased both of these items on 19th Feb 2024, the eye wash & the eye gel . I have been using both items for about 4 weeks now on my Siberian Husky to try an cure conjunctivitis in her eyes which cause tear stains and green eye boogeys. I have followed the instructions on the product . Cleaning eye 1st with warm water on cotton wool then applying the eye wash then applying the eye gel 3-4 times daily . And still to now neither products is working which is a massive shame and very upsetting . And now i have to fork out more money to try other products and another journey for my dog now also . This product has not worked what so ever my dog still has massive green boogeys in her eyes everyday . This time round im not purchasing any more products from this company and ill just have to try an actual steriod gel or drops as this product is selling false hope . This is awareness to other buyers that want to purchase this product thinking it will work for you avoid it waste of time & money im really not happy about this purchase what so ever and i regret it. My dog is in the same position prior to buying this product .

I wished I didn’t try this product.. my cat had some eye discharge and was happy with the Beaphar eye lotion and I thought I’d get an anti bacterial drop to speed up her recovery. Big mistake!! I believe it stings her eyes (she resisted so hard compared to Beaphar eye drops) and caused her to rub at it which then caused inflammation and an expensive trip to the vet for antibiotic eye ointment..

Doesn't work at all so don't waste your money on it. Our cat had a gunky eye and this stuff somehow made it worse. We swapped over to some pets at home drops with colloidal silver and its been one day and they've already improved immensely! we really persisted with this stuff as we thought it would take time but it did absolutely nothing. Just a waste of time and money.

I never write reviews my dog had a sore eye watery it was getting better with bathing with warm water but I decided to try a solution which this one had pretty good reviews worse mistake it made his eye so much worse so I stopped immediately !! Would not recommend the is product

Didn't work well at all. Tried it for a couple of days and conjunctivitis seemed to just be getting worse and in fact spread to the other eye. Got slipped the answer by my local vet receptionist who suggested Optrex 'Infected Eye' drops - cleared up in 24 hours, continued for a few days just to be sure - worked!

Avoid!!! Made my dog's eyes worse, they constantly weeping now. I decided not to use it, and took it to my vet to double check it, he said it's too harsh and contains acid!!! Not to mention it smells like bleech!

Unable to use at all, has caused discomfort and irritation immediately it was put in,tried on 2 different ponies! I had to flush with saline, which thank goodness I had with me. Feel I've wasted every penny, not happy at all.

Cleared up my cats conjunctivitis entirely in about 4-5 days. She was already much more comfortable after day one. Good product, would purchase again.
