Little Helper FunPod
This is a flat pack piece of furniture but it takes a very minimal amount of time to put together. I managed it on my own in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, mine came delivered minus one of the rubber feet but Little Helper very quickly sent me a replacement. The Little Helper FunPod is suitable for children from being able to stand up to about 6 years old. The unit has an adjustable shelf which is where the child stands and there are 5 different levels. The younger the child, the higher the shelf should be placed. The shelf locks into place on the inside of the unit so there’s no need to worry about it moving or coming out of place when your child is inside. My daughter loves to try to help out in the kitchen, especially now that she realises how interesting things can be. I love that she can stand next to me safely, not reach any of the dangerous items at the back of the counter, but still get to see what is going on. What I love about the Little Helper FunPod is that it enables me and my daughter to have some fun in the kitchen, rather than her just getting under my feet while I’m trying to cook. Having this in the kitchen eliminates the risk of accidents by falling off a step or chair, or getting in the way of the oven being opened. My only issue with this is the space it takes up. It certainly isn’t small and we only have a galley kitchen. So that it isn’t always in the way we do store ours in the dining room but it is really easy to just pick up by the handles and move into the kitchen.

Fab product!
- My 16 month old LOVES her funpod. She enjoys being up to the kitchen work top with us whatever we're doing and she also enjoys playing and sitting in the 'box'. She requests to go 'up... up.... up' which makes my life so much easier as she can be involved in my cooking/baking whilst being busy doing lots of messy play/exploring whilst i am near her as at 16 months standing her on a chair is very difficult/dangerous. FOor this reason it is well worth the money.- The funpod is spacious and safe. My little one is tall for her age and is on the second setting to be at chest height with the kitchen worktop. Lots of growing room!- Easy to move around on our laminate floor leaving no marks.Only issue i've found (which i knew would happen( is that due to the safety feature of a large base on the funpod, when the funpod is against a cupboard where there is no bottom recess for the base to go under there is a space of around 7cm between the front of the fun pod and the worktop meaning lots of picking things up off the floor when my little one is up at the worktop and drops things. I try to get her up where there is a cupboard so the top of the funpod is flush wiht the worktop but we only have a small kitchen so sometimes she is round the end of our island for safety reasons when the hob is on so she can still see what i'm doing at a safe distance and i can talk/play with her.

Happier toddler, happier parents.
Just purchased this for our (almost) 2 year old for Christmas and the initial trials have been a great success. Our kitchen is mostly off limits to her because we have an always-on aga but now she can join us and play while we are in working in the kitchen. She loves being at counter height, being able to see everything, and we love her being there safely and not running around grabbing everything. We now have to remember to create an exclusion zone around her reaching hands (she can reach an amazingly long way!) but it means we can cook together and she can play in the sink too. Solidly built so feels very sturdy and safe. Could get in the way in a small kitchen, but luckily we have a little hidey hole it fits in when it's not in use (the feet stick out beyond the 'box' but at least this means it won't tip over). I also think it will hold it's value pretty well for selling on when we've finished with it. Oh, and it was really easy to put together too - took me 20 minutes on my own.
A**!
Great for child with CP
My son is almost 3 years old and has mild cerebral palsy down one side, he is not strong enough to stand for long without support and if he is concentrating on other things has a tendency to slip. Other kitchen towers on the market have gaps in the sides, I was apprehensive to get one in case his leg slipped through and he hurt himself, and he would definitely not be able to stand on a chair as I did when I was small. This one with full sides where he is completely enclosed and supported is perfect for him and he absolutely loves being in it and helping out in the kitchen, calling it his 'pod' and asking to be in it at every opportunity. He can lean against the sides without any concern of him slipping. He also helped to put it together which was really simple and did not take long at all. Lots of room for growth with different heights for the platform so I think this will be a fixture in our kitchen for many years to come, and I also think it will hold its value for when we no longer need it. Although it is quite pricey it is certainly not the most expensive on the market and for our family has been worth every penny. I cannot recommend it enough for all children, but particularly for those who struggle to stand for long periods without support.
