Dr King Matcha has some things to its credit, but I feel the product (while not overpriced, the price is fair for what you get!) is overstated about it's alleged health benefits (both my parents have health issues and this has not helped in any way it has suggested and neither am I confident it would help). I am of the view that the health benefits the product is supposed to offer they say are not just inaccurate but plainly exaggerated. I would say dr matcha is more of a "healthy natural matcha powder that can be added to hot and cold drinks, food, etc that has a natural green flavour that may offer some health benefits". It says:"EXCELLENT HEALTH BENEFITS: (1) Helps PROTECT CELLS, DNA and other molecules in the body from damaging free radicals and, therefore, helps reduces the risk of many diseases such as heart disease and stroke! (2) Helps with WEIGHT LOSS (boosts fat burning) as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle."I feel that such health claims should be not stated for a product that are not clinically proven.Therefore, I personally would not recommend a product that has health claims without proof."Health claim means any claim that states, suggests or implies that a relationship exists between a food category, a food or one of its constituents and health;"... therefore they are making a health claim on Amazon not back by clinical evidence or provide such evidence.I would recommend the taste, everyone, though.They also say on their website it is kosher but do not provide kosher certification proof (eg. KLBD, or other religious organisation)

The taste left a bitterness that never really went away, im mostly referring to there customer service that thinks there Matcha is the worlds best and tastes to good in there opinion, i gave it two stars for the fact its not that bad, just not to my liking as its bitter like cheaper ones and im looking for something different. I had to try and explain why i wasnt satisfied with the Matcha i bought with there so called money back guarantee, they didnt like what i had to say and dont seem to know what the word perishable means, asking me to return it so they could investigate, i gave it to a friend to use up so that would mean i had to go pick it up and then send it back in the post which would cost me time and money, so i decided not to bother because it was a lot of hassle; save your earnings and buy a different product that you can get for cheaper at the same quality with friendly helpful customer service, not ones that want to force you to like their product and argue with you about words they know nothing about.

Best quality Matcha i ever had, and trust me i tried a lot of them. I even used to order Matcha from japan. At the end couldnt be bothered and found teapigs, which is good grade matcha, been drinking that for nearly 2years. But this my fellow awesome people is a really good grade matcha. The package and cap was sealed very well once i opened it and cut the little shiny bag through with my scissors i sensed strong very fresh and awakening smell of Matcha. The actual powder is very bright and vibrant green which reflects the quality of Matcha again.Taste is smooth slightly sweet and a bit bitter rounded up with this unique green tea taste. For people who cannot handle green tea taste might be not very pleasant in taste, of a hot bevg form, but there is many other ways of consuming it, like matcha lattes icecream, cookies, smoothies youghurt etc...The health benefits for me personally are enormous, i lose fat, which i dont have a lot but in result my muscles starts to show up sharper. General look of my skin hair and nails are improved. Gives me tons of energy whether im just about to hit the gym or i just woke up and i need a boost to start a day.No more coffee crashes! It gives me very calm but yet intense focus and alertness lasting from 2 to 4 hours! I can even feel light-headed after a cup!All in all not mentioning the rest of the benefits like antioxidants and immune system improvement... this is a very good buy, worth every penny it costs. So i strongly recommend for the ones who have not tried it or heard of it yet or are buying low grade matcha to go ahead and give this one a go, because you cannot go wrong with it!5-STARMarius.

I absolutely love matcha tea and consume it daily so thought i'd get this more expensive Ceremonial grade tea as a treat. I don't mind paying for quality tea as it does make a difference. I can't fault the tea itself, it's beautifully delicate, energy inducing and worth 5 stars, but the packaging it arrived in is horrendous! Seriously, a premium tea like this should be packaged as such. Sending an exceptional tea out in such a sorry little plastic pot is a bit sacrilegious?! A quality paper bag with foil insert and resealable top would be a huge improvement...I think the producer needs to think hard about upgrading the packaging, it makes the product seem suspicious when it is so premium then comes in a bargain tub. I just don't understand why anyone would put so much apparent effort into sourcing such excellent tea then have a 'print-at-home' label on a cheap tub.To the brand owner: Repackage; it'll elevate your brand instead of putting it in question.
