UGREEN Ethernet Adapter for Fire TV Stick, Micro USB to Ethernet Adapter

Great product for plugging in an ethernet cable connection for your fire stick. This is better than the Amazon one if I'm being honest as it's less bulky and does the same job. Easy to install and ensures wired connection speeds for your fire stick.

Excellent little item worked straight out of the box for me. It says not compatible with Roku but working witk my express 4k. Just be aware my Internet is 500 m download speed, I am getting 100 m with this device so it is limited but 100 m should be more than fine for most users.

I had this item for over 2 months then it died. Work great then all of a sudden it would not connect to the network. Tried different cables with no luck. Lan port and cable from router worked with out issues on other devices. Power cable side not affected. Had to send back to amazon for a refund. Item looked nice and solid package well. Not sure wither or not to buy another one for it only to fail a couple of months down the line.UpdateI had the item packaged up and was about to send the back and I was contacted by Ugreen customer services to try somethings before returning.Restarting the Fire Tv.which I had already tried before Ugreen had contacted me but it didn't solve the problem at the time. Same again had also disconnected the cable at the power adapter side to see if taking the power out of the lan port would sort of reboot it but I only did this for a few seconds. It didn't solve the problem at this point.Factory reset of the Fire Tv if the above didn't work but I didn't really want to do this because I would reinstall my apps and input all the usernames and passwords.So I unpackaged the item to try the above options and send back the results to them but upon reconnecting the adaptor it was working again. It had been unplugged for a few days before I connected it up again so it must need a few minutes disconnection time from the power port to discharged the components in side the lan port rather than the few seconds I unplugged it for.It has been working fine now for the last few weeks without any issues. If I have the same problem with it I will update the review with my findings.

Good adapter and can't go wrong. The only thing is that because the Fire TV Stick is stuck using micro USB, the max you can get is 100mb even plugged in. I'm getting about 90, but on Wi-Fi, I can get the same or more. Good if you haent got good wifi in your room but I would do a speedtest on your device before buying as it might not be worth it.

The box says it's only for the Chromecast but there are some indications that it should work with the latest (2017) Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV as they both have the Amazon ethernet adaptor recommended for those that don't want to use WiFi to connect to the internet. So I decided to take a chance and was very pleased to see it worked with no problems. Basically it replaces the provided power cable but adds an ethernet socket. As soon as fitted it, it connected via ethernet, i.e. wired, without me having to do anything to set it up. As soon as it did I noticed an increase in the speed at which videos and apps loaded. Also in my experience I find ethernet a lot more stable than WiFi. My only niggle was that it has a "cable tidy" attached at the USB connectors end of the cables which has to be move down the cables to allow you to use them. It's a very snug fit so it took some effort to move it so you have to be careful not to hold the USB connectors or there may be a chance of them detaching from the cables if they're pulled too hard. Other than that an excellent product which, as it happens, is a couple of quid cheaper than Amazon's own adaptor.

My Chromecast Audio unit was always dropping off my WiFi and requiring a full Reset, very annoying. Google do supply an ethernet adapter but I wasn't sure when Google would deliver it and it also appeared to have an American power plug.Then, on Amazon, I saw this UGREEN ethernet adapter which was listed as working with Chromecast and Chromecast audio devices, delivery was next day. It arrived and I plugged it in. My ChromeCast Audio appeared to be still connected to WiFi instead of ethernet, then I discovered that you need to remove the power supply from the ChromeCast for 30 seconds then plug it back in again. Bingo! The chromeCast Audio is now connected reliably to ethernet (you can check this by opening the Google "Home" app, going to the listed Chromecast, opening the little gear shaped "Settings" and looking to see if there is a WiFi network listed, if there isn't, then it's on ethernet).I highly recommend this little ethernet adapter, it is cheaper than Google's effort and works well.

So I'm getting 500mg though virgin media .get alot of buffering . Plugged in and getting between 60 and 90 meg hardwired. Still buffers but alot less . Thought would resolve buffering but hasn't. Eye pee

Outstanding Quality product

I bought this to use with my RokuExpress 4k even though it does not explicitly mention supporting Roku.Also, the same device (same ASIN) on Amazon UK mentions Roku Express 4k yet also mentions it does not support *any* Roku device!!! Since the reviews suggested that it does indeed work then I bought and .... yes, it works perfectly, plug & play. Super happy.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour faire fonctionner le SDR Adalm Pluto en mode Ethernet et tous fonctionne super bien, le débit est constant et aucune coupure même avec un câble Ethernet RJ45 de ~25m fait maison !Sa remplace une rallonge USB, je songe installer avec ce produit un convertisseur de média (Ethernet RJ45 -> Fibre Optique) pour plus de distance en remote.

Good build quality and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Provide an ethernet connection between router and firestick.This allows the firestick to operate on a wired connection to the internet. No need to rely on a noisy Wi-Fi environment

I bought this as I rather use wire network with Amazon fire stick. The item is well built and works.
