The led display on my echo pen has died. how do i go about getting a replacement under the warranty?

Unfortunately, this appears to be a common problem with these pens which is why a lot of users give up on them after a while. Mine died after the warranty period so that was that. Presumably you have some right to a replacement from the company you bought it from under the sale of goods act or whatever it is called now.

Hi, as this is fullfilled by amazon, what is the warranty, i've read livescribe made echo, 3 years due to screen dimming issues. can anyone advise?

I have not heard about the 3 year warranty on the echo but I do know Livescribe recently (November) got bought out by Anoto in Sweden. They've promised new products in 2016 so I for one am looking forward to seeing what they produce.

how do you edit text?

If you mean the notes in the notebook, you can edit with the pen at any time and this will be reflected when you sync the pen with desktop

Yes most definitely. It is a brilliant tool which I use almost every day in my work.
