First, this does exactly what it says. It removed hair and left my skin soft.Details;I heated this slightly as it was impossible to spread otherwise - although it does say that for facial hair it does not need heated. Put it on and whipped it off. I felt a burning/tingling sensation for about 5-10 minutes afterwards, (longer on upper lip area), and my face stayed red for about 20 minutes. After that it returned to normal.Strangely I could see no hair on the material you apply to peel the substance off, but the hair had gone from my face. There were a few fine, short hairs left, but as this was my first time using this, that was probably lack of expertise on my part.These hairs were small and unnoticeable.My skin stayed feeling good for a few days afterwards too.ConclusionWorks better than cream and is gentler than wax.

I really wanted to like this product. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work for me. I've tried heating it in boiling water as well as a microwave but it seems to cool down too quickly. As soon as I try to spread it on my legs it just solidifies into a sticky lump and will not spread at all. Having read all the glowing reviews I've no idea what I'm doing wrong but it just doesn't work for me.

There are so many good things about Moom and only one bad thing. First the good things....It has natural ingredients in that are not harsh on the skin. It smells good. It's very easy to use. it definately does a good hair removal job and gets rid of hair without ripping the top layer of skin off. No nasty rashes afterwards. Also its easy to clean up any sticky patches with water so no need to buy extra expensive oils like you do with waxing. Plus you can wash and re-use the strips again! Ok the bad thing about Moom is that it's not available to buy in Boots or Superdrug. Why not? This stuff is way better than stinky Veet and all those awful chemical hair removers.

Love this product. It was easy to use, just heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds (don't exceed the 10 seconds as the product will become too syrupy. It is not meant to be like a hot wax) and make sure to spread thin layers of the sugar wax to be stripped. I found it a lot less painful than normal waxing strips. With previous waxing strips I've been unable to continue but this I completed both legs. Love that this is easily washed off with water and the reusable strips are easily soaked and then rinsed off to be used again. Saves on money and the environment. I found this a great product for me and only wish I had discovered Moom hair removal method sooner!

They increased the price 50% while halving the size - ridiculous. Not buying again.

I have no idea how did I live so many years without knowing that there was something like MOOM. This is a brilliant product, completely free of nasty ingredients, cruelty free and so easy to use and effective. Once you get used to using it, the mess is minimum and the benefits are obvious straight away, your skin looks much better (forget those long hours of redness after waxing) and the hair grows a little bit slower and weaker (I believe this will improve over time). Brilliant. totally worth the price.

Considering the rave reviews this product has received I'm yet to be wowed away. First of all don't buy this size container. I am a short woman with slim legs (dark coarse hairs) and could only get enough out of it to do up to front and sides of my legs (the backs still need doing, and I had hoped to do my thighs as well with the one jar). I was pretty amazed with how pain-free the first strip was, but when it came to the usual painful areas it still hurt, and hurts afterwards for a lot longer than cold wax. My legs do feel lovely and smooth...apart from in the areas where I just couldn't get the wax to remove hairs despite them being well within the desirable length of 1cm. This is also the first time I've ever gotten so many red bumps on my legs after waxing. It's as messy as you'd expect and all in all I'm disappointed with the amount of money I spent on it. I certainly can't see myself forking out another £12 just to do my thighs; back to £1 packets of cold wax for me!

This is brilliant! I’ve made my own sugar mix before but this is superior, perhaps just the consistency is perfected. It takes leg hair out beautifully and with barely any pain. I’m struggling with armpits but I think that’s just technique which I need to develop. Really pleased with this purchase!Should be noted that the cloth strips should not be washed in the machine but soaked and rinsed in the sink.
