TQM Products Ruler The Binding Tool

I couldn't be without this tool. So easy to use,......... watch the Youtube video by the Fat Quarter Shop. My quilt bindings are perfect now, I give this as a present to all my friends when they first start quilt making. My favourite tool !

This is such a helpful tool for getting that perfect mitered seam on your binding. I've been using one of these for some time now, and liked it enough to buy another. Some friends have remarked that the directions on the tool can be hard to understand. There are some excellent tutorials on YouTube to help if you need it.

I have always dreaded doing the binding. This tool has made the binding sooo much easier. I love the binding tool. Everyone that quilts should get one!! This is one of my favorite templets!! Great Service!

I saw this ruler on a video and had to have one. I tried it for the first time tonight, and it works like magic. I was hesitant at first, because the quilt I'm making is for a gift, but the binding came out perfect. BUT--some dimwit decided to plaster an unpeelable label right across the front of the ruler. The only reason I was able to use the ruler tonight was because of the video I saw. I didn't have time to spend half an hour picking away at that label, and what I did get off left behind some seriously sticky residue. Every other quilting ruler I've bought came wrapped in plastic. If nothing else, if they didn't want to wrap this one, why not put the label on the back? So I docked them a star because of the stupid label, but the ruler is amazing and I'm glad I have it.

How did we do it before we had this tool? SO in love with this, I have several and keep them in my quilt room, in my purse and in my sewing machine case for travel. Truly wonderful and there are videos on youtube that will show you step by step how to use it if for some reason you have difficulty with the clear instructions that are printed right on your tool.

I love this tool! I have struggled and struggled with getting the ends of the quilt binding just right. I saw a video of how to use this tool and thought I would try it out. It works! Now finishing a quilt binding isn't causing me any more angst, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. This tool makes it so much easier. You might want to watch a video on how to use it because the written instructions on the tool made no sense to me.

What's with the sticker? I know other people have complained about the sticker so I figure aye they will do something if everyone complains. The product itself is great. I have the mini Binding Tool but the larger one makes it so much easier to sew the ends together. But that label is ridiculous. There is a sheet of plastic on the back of the binding tool that needs to be taken off but they still insist on placing a hard to remove label on the front over the instructions. The only way to remove the label completely is to use a solvent like goo gone. Please teach your employees to use some common sense and put the label on the back! Thank you.

Love this ruler! Quilt binding always throws me off. I never seem to remember how to cut my pieces for sewing together, cut, etc. This ruler has the directions printed on the ruler. It's been a great addition to my sewing notions. Quick delivery seller. Great quality. Would buy again.
